I used wood screws for this project.
Anything beneath the magazine base is, in fact, above the mount.

Mag holders that are perfect. Unfortunately, in a boating accident, I lost all of my guns.
I ordered these so that I could easily access my extra magazines. They come with anchors to secure them to the wall. The problem is that I wanted them to be on my safe's side. Because I didn't want to drill any holes in my safe, I used some of that double-sided tape to solve the problem. This tape is holding up well after I installed one mount on the side of my safe and the other on the side of my headboard. Even with the 33-round magazines loaded. Returning to the magazine holders is the next step. I like these so much that I'm going to order more. I'll include a link to the tape I used here on Amazon for those who are curious about it. Despite the fact that I assumed this was a one-piece rack, it actually comes in two pieces and serves my needs perfectly. To accommodate 9 magazines, I added one more piece, making it three in total.
I used the "EZlifego Double Sided Tape Heavy Duty" tape to attach the magazine mount to the inside of my safe door, as suggested by another reviewer. The tape did a fantastic job. On the first page, you can see how I positioned the magazines so that they rested lightly on the safe mechanism; however, after seeing the finished installation, I don't believe this is necessary. I'm writing this review to let people know that the 22LR (G44) magazines fit perfectly in this mount as well. Look at the second image. This (mount tape) is a fantastic way for me to keep my magazines organized inside the safe. a few weeks: br>br> After a few weeks, the EZlifego Double Sided Tape failed to hold. I wouldn't buy these unless you intend to attach them to the desired surface with the screws. I still like them, and I'd pay twice as much for one with a "big magnet screwed on" option.
I wanted to put a magazine holder in my gun locker but didn't want to use magnets. These came with hardware for mounting in wood or drywall, but I used double-sided velcro to mount them out of the way inside the locker, and it works great without drilling any holes.
These are where I keep my Glock magazines on my gun wall. They were simple to put together, requiring only two screws. I wish they'd provided black screws instead of silver ones, but that's a minor quibble. The magazines don't hang freely from the mount, which is another annoyance. The 30 round magazines, in particular, are angled back and rest against the wall. I would give it five stars if these two issues were resolved.
I just received my order today and I absolutely love it. I ordered it for my G19 mags, but it also fits my M mags. P mags, too; I'll definitely be ordering more!.
I've now installed a good number of them. They're ideal for Glock magazines, but they'll also work with Baretta / Taurus 92 magazines and Para double stack magazines. I'm guessing it'll work for any magazine with a similar thickness, but I can't say for sure.
