STICKY HOLSTERS - SM-5 Small Holster Modified for Front Mounted Lasers

It's more durable! This was purchased for my Sig P365, which is equipped with the Lima365 laser. I was skeptical about how well it would stay put, but after a few days of wearing it in public, it never moved from where it was on my hip. It didn't seem to matter that I was getting in and out of my car all the time. br>The retention is decent, especially if your belt is properly tightened. You'll never have to worry about your gun falling out if you don't do any handstand-tangoes.

This was purchased to go with a Sig 365 and a Streamlight TLR. It's a close fit, and there's no way to draw the gun one-handed. without having to take out the holster as well. It's possible that going up a size would work, but this is the holster they recommended for my laser-equipped gun. I've tried stretching, breaking it in, and stretching it out, but it's still too tight. The front sight is one of the issues, at least with the Sig. It's a perpendicular blocky site that will always catch on the soft material, so you'll need a strip of smoother harder material along the spine. br>br> Holstering the gun is also a chore, and there's no way you'll ever be able to do it one handed; most soft holsters require two hands. The fact that this holster is significantly more expensive than other soft IWB holsters doesn't help matters. br>br> According to what I've heard, they're usually tight for any given gun. At the very least, I won't have to be concerned about the gun falling out. br>br>The majority of other soft holsters lack rail accessory options. I'm aware that the Remora does, but that's it. br>br> In terms of staying put on sticky material, it appears to work quite well. However, it isn't so sticky that I won't be able to pull it off. I tried it on with a variety of pants jumping up and down as I climbed the stairs, and it stayed put. br>br> I understand that if you want something for a quick draw, you're not going to go with this type of holster anyway, but I've seen the Remoras and they can be drawn, at least most of the time; the difficulty of getting my gun out of this holster significantly reduces its functionality. So for the time being, I'm just using it as a pistol rug, but it's difficult to see this as anything other than a $30 waste. br>br> The Sticky gets an extra star for actually being sticky.

It is not compatible with the Sig P365 Streamlight TLR-II. 6 light. Even after allowing it to stretch and reholstering several times, it is still extremely tight. I can't unholster it with one hand, and it won't stay in my pocket or waistband no matter how tightly I cinch it. The inner liner of my front sight was torn as well. I didn't expect much, but this holster, at least for my setup, is truly awful.

So I bought two of these for my two carry guns, not intending to use them as an IWB rig. However, I discovered that they fit perfectly in my pocket. I designed them for that purpose, and they do a great job of it; they keep your finger off the trigger, and the material generates enough resistance to keep your hand in your pocket while the gun comes out. It does a good job of keeping sweat and moisture off the firearm, and the outer material also appears to be a vapor barrier. I'm quite pleased with them, and I believe you will be as well if you prefer pocket carry. Extra (Arrived a few days ahead of schedule, but I'm not complaining because I got what I wanted).

I bought this as a pocket holster for my Sig P938 with built-in laser. The sizing is ideal, and the material's durability and wearability are exceptional. It fits nicely in the pocket of my jeans and provides adequate protection for my gun and leg. It is necessary to practice drawing the gun from the pocket several times and from various positions (standing/setting), as this will increase your confidence in yourself and the holster.

It does require pants with pockets that provide enough friction for it to work, which% So if it's 90 degrees outside and I'm wearing gym shorts and a tank top, I use my belly band; otherwise, it's my sticky holster all day - It's comfortable, versatile, and after several months of daily use, it still has the same "stick" as when I first used it.

Even for the firearms for which it is intended, this product is far too tight. I'm not sure what you're talking about. Because the firearm is supposed to slide out of the holster, there's no need to tighten them. This firm prefers to make their product extremely secure on the firearm. The DeSantis sticky pocket holsters far outperform the competition. They're a little stickier in the pocket, and the gun slides out easily. This is ideal because the firearm should be easy to disengage.

I didn't like the fact that the first one they sent was packaged incorrectly. They delivered the SM- 5 in a package labeled as an SM- 5 have been laser-modified. When I returned, they immediately sent me an SM- 5 laser-modified items arrived the following business day. I really like the product because I've recently had surgery and need to travel light. I don't have to wear a holster because I can just tuck it inside the waistband of my pants. Once I've recovered, I'll switch back to a full holster, but for now, this is the most convenient option.
