Questions & Answers

I have a silly question: do the ronin decals come with the bullet antenna as well?

Yes. There are two decals included.

Is the magnet powerful enough to keep a small pistol secure in a soft pocket holster?

Most likely, all I have to do is get my 45 close to the magnet, and it will suck it right up to it. It has a significant amount of power.

Is it capable of holding a holstered weapon and allowing the weapon to be drawn?

Yes, if your holster has a magnetic portion that would stay firmly attached to the mount's magnet. Due to the lack of magnets in most holsters, people have traditionally mounted their guns directly to it.

Is this protected from scratching your weapon with a coating?

I'm not sure if it's coated, but my Glock 21 has been on it for over a year and hasn't scratched.

Ronin: The best roommate you've ever had! First and foremost (for those who prefer to type): I am a single person who lives alone
5/5

No kids. Nobody else but me! Only at night, when I'm in bed, do I use this grip on my Glock 43X. After getting dressed in the morning, the first thing I do is stow the gun in my holster or place it in the safe with his brothers and sisters. br>br>Now for the review: Ronin is completely silent, and he doesn't even snore! He also takes care of my Glock 43X for as long as I want him to, which is always all night: "Because the night is dark and full of terrors," says the narrator. " Ronin always has my Glock 43X on hand in case someone robs the wrong house. My only gripe is with the screws, which are of poor quality. They worked for my application, but I had to use a VERY low torque (AKA: zero torque) setting. Any drill would have chewed those heads into a perfect circle if they hadn't been held in place by hand screws.

Carrier friendly for LEO and CCW
3/5

July 31- Well, the adhesive for this product wore off after a hot day, and it now won't reattach to hold my pistol. I'm currently using it to store two 9mm mags, but it's not strong enough to support the weight of a fully loaded pistol. I hope you find this information useful. This is what I used to secure my Sig Sauer P320C 9mm to the glovebox of my 2019 Toyota Tacoma. It was simple to put together and holds my pistol securely when a magazine is inserted. This is something I strongly advise any law enforcement officers or concealed weapon carriers to do. Before you do anything, make sure to check your state's laws.

I'm going to buy at least one more
5/5

There are several of these magnets on this shelf, but I can only speak about this one. I plan to purchase at least one, if not two more. This is exactly what I was looking for. This magnet is very secure in holding my Glock and a spare mag. Screw mounts and 3m double-sided tape are included in the package. Take a look at this!.

It was exactly what I needed
5/5

A low-cost way to keep your firearm secure and within reach while traveling! Although the double-sided tape is useless, it does come with four mounting screws. Mine is hidden beneath the dash and out of the way. It's a cinch to use. (G2c 9mm Taurus).

I tried to order a couple for my brother's birthday, but they never arrived
5/5

Amazon sucks, because the product is fantastic. I was worried that the screws would not set properly and would pull out easily when attaching and unattaching my weapon, but that was not the case. Everything is solid and clean. I bought two, one for my gun and the other for extra clips. It's an amazing product with a lot of magnetic power. I'm going to put one in my bedroom under my nightstand.

It securely holds the pistol

There are also other things. Because there isn't enough room between the grip and the surface on which the magnet is stuck, it's not practical for side attachment to a pistol. To keep both sides of the grip clear for thumb and fingers, the best configuration is top of slide attachment. But only if you have a flat-screen television will this work. Like a Glock, it has a topped slide. Will not work with rounded tops, such as those found on 1911s - That will require the use of a side attachment. This will be placed in the center console box. To draw, take a normal shooting grip on the weapon, pull the forward portion of the weapon away from the magnet with a forward pitch motion, and pull the aft portion upward and away from the magnet. This keeps the sights from slamming into the magnet or the surface. The included 3M double-backed tape adheres firmly to any smooth or textured plastic dashboard or console material. Because of the additional force of the magnet on the steel safe, it grips steel safe boxes like a Tuffy even tighter. I ordered a second set to hold my batons, pens, knives, Leatherman, and other miscellaneous items.

It's a great little gadget, but it has one major flaw: The inability of man to remember
5/5

In terms of price, I'm not sure why these magnets are so expensive, and in terms of functionality, it's a no-brainer. Yep. That's excellent. BUT: br>I watched a You Tube video by a guy who was very critical of this magnet before I received it. What is the reason for this? Because it's all too easy to leave your gun in the car. I had a personal thought: "I'd never allow that to happen to me. " I'm far too cautious when it comes to leaving my gun in my car. " As it turns out, I'm one of those guys who forgets things. This isn't the first time. Be wary and cautious if you decide to buy this handy device. Don't tell me it hasn't happened to you before. br>For the reasons stated above, I rarely use this magnet. However, I do make use of it when traveling through dangerous areas or at night - And believe me when I tell you that living in South Africa is no laughing matter. With traffic signals indicating "High Hijack Risk" and "High Crime Areas" on major roads, I feel much more at ease carrying my Glock 19 in condition 1 with my knee resting against it, knowing it is there and ready to go when needed. br>However, don't make the same mistake I did and leave your handgun in your vehicle. And I'm not stupid or any of the other adjectives that come to mind right now. br>On the 13th of June 2021, there will be some additional insights: The magnet is still in the same place where I put it. It's something I use every now and then. But only when I'm in orange and up, which usually means in dangerous areas or while driving at night on South Africa's dangerous roads. If I had the chance, would I buy it right now? Certainly not, as my dependable companion now rides in my handcrafted shoulder holster, which I designed myself.

Fits any pistol perfectly! What an amazing product and design
5/5

My Ronin gun mount magnet has made my life so much easier. It securely holds both my Glock and my Sig without fail. br>The 3M double sticky tape would be fine in a moderately controlled environment, but not in a hot, humid environment. a vehicle that is always hot. The screws are used at this point. They're simple to put together and rock solid! br>These can be easily mounted in any room of your house for easy access to your sidearm. I ordered one, then ordered four more after seeing how well it works. I gave one as a gift to my father and kept the rest. These items are fantastic!.
