Everything you'll need for a variety of installations is included. On its own, the back adhesive is quite strong. Both adhesives were used by me. the screws that came with it In the event of an emergency, it makes it very easy to get to my pistol.
I tried to install it in my car without using any screws, but the double-sided tape did not stick, and I ended up wasting my money.
I really like the mount; it has a lot of magnets and is inexpensive.
This is fantastic!.
To fit the truck's lower dash, you'll have to bend a little.
The magnets are protected by a soft, non-abrasive coating. With a few mounting holes and included hardware, the housing is marred. This provides a firm, secure mounting platform under desks, tables, and pretty much anywhere else you might want ready access that is thick enough for some screws to mount it for flat topped slides like those on Glock pistols. The only drawback is that the magnets don't grip as well with a rounded top slide as they do on a 92FS, 1911, or other pistol. The magnets on the side can keep these in place, but it'll be more difficult to get your fingers around the grip for a quick retrieval. br>br>With the aforementioned limitations, it functions well as intended.
This is far superior to the competition. You can put it almost anywhere and not have to worry about where the firearm will go. The slide does not have to fit into a slot, in other words. I can put my Glock in any position and the magnets will keep it in place. In my opinion, this is the best firearm holder on the market.
This was purchased to locate studs in our walls, and it performs much better than a stud finder. I'm thinking of mounting a gun on it - If I do, I'll make a note of it in my review.
