This safe was not designed or manufactured in the United States. It's a Chinese product. The Liberty HDX is a high-definition television. 150, as well as the Liberty HDX- 250 are produced in the United States.
Two keys are included with it.
No, it isn't fire-resistant.
It's not an egg-shaped foam, but a thin, flat foam. You could always purchase a thicker piece of foam and cut out cutouts for your gun and clips.

lock your car safely- box. I bought it primarily to keep a pistol in my vehicle while visiting a business or location where carrying "weapons of war" (WoW) was not permitted. This tiny locket is I'm not calling it a safe on purpose, but it perfectly fits the bill! My sole goal was to protect my World of Warcraft from the ever-present snatchers. thief-and-grab I can't imagine someone breaking into my truck, searching it, and prying open the box in less than a few minutes, especially with the cable coiled around the drivers seat bracket. That was the only thing I needed. br>br>The images I've included are for comparison purposes only. The dimensions of a product provided by the manufacturer do not always represent the most usable space. br>br>Now, if you're looking for a safe or even a lock, you've come to the right place. This is not the box for you if you require any level of security! Purchase something similar to a Ft. Safe for pistols or rifles, according to Knox. br>br>In conclusion, if you want to keep valuables safe from snatchers who aren't as determined as you are, you should invest in a safe. This is a fantastic buy for thugs and even small children! If you need more than that, do yourself a favor and invest in something more durable.
The box is fairly sturdy, but the tolerances of the single lock on the long edge mean there's enough slop to rock the lid side to side, exposing a fairly significant gap on either corner large enough for a large screwdriver or small pry bar. The pry protection strips inside the box only protect the box's flat ends; the corners are unprotected. br>br>I'm returning this Liberty box and replacing it with a Hornady TriPoint lock box (which is slightly smaller in size than the HD-1). 90) in the hopes of improving pry protection and providing a more secure locking mechanism.
For three reasons, I bought this vault. To begin with, the lock is not a simple key lock, but rather one of those round security type locks that are found on some high-end tool boxes. Second: The thickness of the material. This is a thicker gauge steel than many of the other low-cost lock boxes advertise. To get into it, you'd have to put in some effort. Third, the size: This can easily accommodate a government official. 45 minutes, with a few clips thrown in for good measure. The box has a couple of mounting screw holes on the bottom and a small slot near the right back corner to accept a steel cable. The steel cable that comes with it has a large and small loop at each end. Unlike some reviews on competing products, these were tightly crimped when I pulled them on. This, like all of these products, is intended to deter snatching and fleeing. br>Instructions on how to use it: Wrap the cable around something that is fixed in your vehicle. Pass the small loop through the large loop and use the slop in the corner to place the small loop inside the box. The lock comes with two keys, one of which can only be removed if the lock is locked. It's possible that it'll be too tall to fit beneath some seats. The heavy-duty feel and weight are exactly what I was looking for.
I opened the safe and immediately placed my carry pistols inside one by one, checking to see if the foam would hold the pistols in place as soon as I locked the safe. Unfortunately, I heard a thud as my gun slid around inside with each one; fortunately, I realized that using the white plastic foam that came with it as reinforcement would be a quick fix. I cut the foam to fit underneath the softer grey/black foam after measuring and cutting it. The only other reason for the 4 star rating is that the supplied cable isn't much of a deterrent. It took 5 minutes and I no longer have to worry about my guns bouncing around inside the safe, and it was included in the regular price!br>The only other reason for the 4 star rating is that the supplied cable isn't much of a deterrent. Someone who can get into your car will be able to quickly deal with the cable. I haven't yet had the opportunity to strengthen or fabricate a more durable cable.
The full- A good travel companion is a handgun vault of the right size. The case can be secured anywhere, including in a car, a hotel, or an office, thanks to the cable. This model can hold a full-size laptop computer. two magazines for a full-size handgun Because the foam inside is thin, you may want to consider adding more foam or a cloth to prevent the firearm and magazine from sliding around. The lock is quite sturdy, and the metal gauge used is suitable for the job.
It accommodates all of my 1911s, ranging in size from 5-inch to 10-inch. No problem with 3 inch barrels. I keep it under the seat of my Ford Focus, with the cable attached to the seat post, and it's fantastic.
To open and close it, you must always have the key in your hand. I needed a safe that I could leave open until I was ready to close it and lock it. I couldn't open the car with the key on the keychain and the ignition turned on. China is the source of this product. Doesn't compare to Liberty in terms of quality.
They can also accommodate most small tablets. They've even been mounted on cars.
