Will these fit in with Hold Up Display's gun wall displays?

On a pegboard, I used it.

Is it possible to use these with the ProSlat system?

Yes, that is correct. That's exactly what I'm doing with them, and they're fantastic.

Will these work with the Gladiator slat wall?

No, the groove on a gladiator slat wall is wider than on a traditional slat wall. These, on the other hand, can be tweaked to make them more effective.

Is it possible to use this with 1/4-inch pegboard?

These were bought to go with the "Wall Control" peg and slot wall panels. Yes, they function, but The vinyl coating on these hooks needs to be trimmed with a utility knife, but it's a simple fix. The vinyl on the outside of the two peg elements must be shaved away.

The angle at which the holders are attached to the bases varies, making it difficult to achieve a level and even display of items. Also, after hanging a gun on one of the hooks, it snapped off its base, sending it crashing to the floor, as if the only thing holding it together was the paint. On nothing, there are no visible weld marks. Given these two issues, the bases are of poor quality for the money; they also barely engage the slatwall slot edge, putting the material at risk of blowing out when hanging heavier guns. I'd like a replacement sent to me for the one that broke, but Amazon doesn't make it easy to do anything other than a full return or exchange, so I guess I'm not going to be able to do anything about it.

I tried displaying long guns on slatwall with these in my commercial store. They're functional, but not something I'd use in a store. They don't fit well in the slatwall, and even a slight bump when removing the rifle causes them to cock at an angle or fall out entirely. The second issue aggravates this problem. These hooks have a rubber coating on them. This was done to avoid scratches on the firearm's wood and metal. However, because this rubber coating is very grabby, the hooks will frequently grab on the firearm when lifting it out of the hooks, causing the hooks to dislodge and, in most cases, fall off the wall. br>br>I'm looking for other ways to use these and would not buy them again.

Fits a slat wall with metal reinforcement inserts but not a slat wall without them

It's a great fit for the peg board. The main issue I ran into was that the clearances in a standard slat wall panel with metal reinforcement inserts are too small for the cradles to fit properly. The cradle is canted upward as a result, making it very tight on all but the thinnest of guns; without the metal inserts in the slat wall, the cradle sits flat but has very little engagement with the panel. I'd be hesitant to mount anything that weighed a lot of weight this way. br>br>However, I tested the cradles on a peg board and they work perfectly.

This product can be used to drill larger holes in your medal peg board or to grind off 1/2 of the cradles legs to mount them, but it will not work on metal pegboard

When removing the gun from the hook, the cradles can then move slightly. If you drill a bigger hole in your peg board, it works great: However, using peg board to change your wall design later is no longer an option. Someone should simply create one that functions properly.

They are extremely durable

These were for hanging rifles and pistols on a metal pegboard wall. They function properly and can accommodate my heaviest rifles. My is held up by two of these. A 50-round drum magazine was loaded into a 308 AR. I would purchase this item again.
