This would work for a Mossberg Mariner 590A; you could shoot one off of it, but it's intended use is as a bench rest for a long-range rifle with a scope.
Okay, I'll admit it: I had no idea what the gun looked like. I REALLY DON'T THINK THE STINGER WILL WORK WITH YOUR GUN DESIGN. YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO GET AWAY WITH BUILDING SOMETHING TO HELP HOLD THE STOCK AT THE BUTT- THE TRIGGER AND THE MAGNET WILL BE DIFFICULT TO GET TO- DUE TO THE DESIGN OF THE STINGERS. I HAVE ONE AND USE IT WITH A RIFLE OF THE AR TYPE. MY TRIGGER AND MAG ARE FAR ENOUGH IN ADVANCE TO BE ACCESSIBLE. br>THE TAVOR X-THE TAVOR X-THE TAVOR X- THE TAVOR X- 95,,- IT'S WAY TOO EARLY IN THE PROCESS. PLACE THE GUN FLAT ON THE GROUND AND TRACE AROUND IT. YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO BUILD SOMETHING NARROW UP TOP TO SUPPORT THE GUN AND STILL HAVE ROOM FOR A WIDE PLATFORM ON THE BOTTOM OF YOUR (HAND MADE SUPPORT)- USE SOMETHING SUCH AS METAL-ON-METAL-ON-METAL-ON-METAL-ON-METAL MAKE IT STEADY BY LOWING IT DOWN- IN ADDITION, BY USING 5/16 BOLTS- PERMIT YOU TO ADVANCE FOR ELEVATION- USE CUT TO FIT ARMOR FLEX TO PREVENT YOUR GUN FROM RUBBING ON WOOD. I WOULD CUT OUT 3/4 IN PLYWOOD SO THAT YOUR MAG AND TRIGGER ARE NOT COVERED- PERMITTING YOU TO OPERATE THE WEAPON BY SLIDING YOUR HAND IN. THIS IS GOING TO BE A DIFFICULT ONE. This was purchased for my husband, who shoots between the ages of 22 and 40. Winchester rifles with a caliber ranging from 250 to 300 rounds per minute. The ease with which it can be adjusted is a big plus.

Selected User Reviews For Caldwell Stinger Shooting Rest with Adjustable Non-Marring Cradles and Durable Ambidextrous Design for Sighting in Rifles, Shot Stabilization, and Target Shooting
I got mine because the one I was using, which belonged to a friend, could only hold my AR-style rifle with a detachable box magazine, and I needed something that could hold any rifle, bolt action or semi auto carbine size with a detachable box magazine. If it had a 10-round magazine instead of the standard 30-rounder, it would be worth $15. br>I got this, and it turns out that I can also fit my AK47 in it! And everyone is aware of how long that banana clip is. A traditional long gun, such as a bolt action or shotgun, is, of course, perfectly acceptable. The front fork that holds the gun's fore stock, as well as the cradle that holds the butt stock, are made of a thick rubber material to protect the finish on that prized firearm. br>There is a large knob that one would use with their left hand to adjust elevation. Rubber pads on the feet prevent the item from slipping. There is no need for a weight, as there is in the Caldwell Lead Sled. The rest is simple to assemble and comes with clear, easy-to-follow instructions. The front rubber V-shaped cradle is held to the pedestal mount by a bracket with stripped threads. I emailed Caldwell and explained the situation, and they sent me a replacement in about 5 days. So no stars deducted for excellent customer service. br>I purchased this primarily for the purpose of zeroing new scopes, and it has proven to be extremely useful thus far. I have no reservations in recommending this to others. The other reviews persuaded me to buy it, and I hope mine has aided you in making your decision.
CADWELL's Stinger Shooting Rest gets a thorough review in this video. The delivery was quick and there were no damages, thanks to Amazon. The unpacking nicely packaged with antimicrobial protection assembly; crushing cutouts Simple instructions (nice pictures showing the directions of the cross-supporting tubes; yes, if you don't look, you'll put them in the wrong direction). Construction of the materials; 'Good' in general; On the basis of stability and sturdiness, I gave it four stars. However, one of the metal mounting wedges for the Front Rest stripped down during assembly due to a faulty tap. For it to hold, I need to tread deeper into it in order to engage the upper treads. (The other metal mounting wedges are adequate, though longer 'Allen screws' would have been preferable due to the pressure exerted by the rubber rest pulling down on the mount. ) THIS IS NOT GOING TO LAST FOR LONG. Battenfeld Tech Inc. received an email from me. (who owns Caldwell) about a week ago and have yet to hear back (I'll keep you updated if I hear anything). ) Target practice; Very nice for short rifles (carbines with barrel lengths of 23" or less), but you'll need a'sandbag'/weight to shoot with. It'll jump if you're 30 or older. ) Now, why are there only two stars in the rating? Wedge mounting for the front rest. 2, Battenfeld Tech's lack of customer service. and 3. That I didn't mention in the previous paragraph; (It's fine--) rear stock hold 'Stinger' resembles the tail of a scorpion. I see what you mean about the name; To keep it in place, I needed to use a Velcro strap. If you agree or disagree, please leave a comment below. Thank you.
As a hobbyist, I shoot precision and prefer to include as much of the human element as possible, because controlling mount, breathing, flinching, and other factors all play a role in a successful shot. A rifle rest, on the other hand, is a good idea for getting a scope to absolute zero as quickly as possible, determining which round your rifle prefers, and creating the most controlled and repeatable shot to shot environment. I'm not sure why I like it. It's as follows:
1. The value for money is excellent. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I'd only use once in a while, but I still needed a sled for the reasons stated above.
2. Caldwell's work is something I really enjoy. Their components and equipment appear to be of good quality and are reasonably priced. br>3. When compared to many other options, the split bar sled allows for longer magazines to be seated in the rest, which can be a problem for users on rests designed for bolt actions but not for AR15 or AR10.
4. The wide front feet provide a very solid and stable platform for the rest of the ride; I was worried it would be too light and jumpy, but it isn't. This rest handles the recoil of my heavy AR308 configured for long range shooting very well.
5. The knobs have a great deal of adjustability. Once you've got it where you want it, it's also sturdy and stays put.
6. While it isn't technically a gun vice, it comes in handy when you need a third hand for armory work. It's handy to have on hand when fiddling with scope mounts or ring adjustments, for example. br>br>Overall, this product is ideal for the infrequent occasions when I need/use a rest. It is made of high-quality, durable materials. The assembly is simple. Lightweight and portable. It performs exactly as it should. And it's well worth the money in my opinion.
It's possible that a follow-up review will be conducted. (A 2 is shown in the illustration. ) For reference, a 5 gallon gas can and a foot are used to determine the size of the box. )br>I just felt it was necessary to inform you that this box comes unwrapped, with a picture of an assault rifle displaying exactly what it is. Now, let me speak for myself. That doesn't bother me in the least. However, I had it delivered to my place of business. In today's world, with all of the anti-gun hysteria, Is that how it's going to be delivered? Is there any way to get free advertising? In any case. I spend more time there than I do at home, so I figured receiving mail there would be safer. (I'm referring to the porch thieves who steal packages from your front porch. ) ) So. If you send it to. . . well, anyone. They'll be familiar with your industry. On your porch, a large green box with a picture of an assault rifle. We've been waiting for you to return. Hum. Do you believe your neighbors were unaware of the gun nuts' residence? Not to mention those who surface for a closer examination. or to seize the opportunity. As I previously stated. . . I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I'm sure you' I purchased it with the intention of using it for its intended purpose.
P. My employer is now aware that I own a rifle bag and a shooting stand. I'm not sure how long I'll be able to stay there. What should I do with the adult toys and where should I send them? br>It's funny that my guitar arrived in its original box. in a larger box that was plain and didn't reveal what it was.
