In ounces, how much does it actually weigh. ?

What is the quality of the hiking trails? When hiking long distances, does it get in the way?

This is a great hiking area. The only way it gets in the way is if you wear it in that manner. So that it won't get in my way, I carry mine in my pack.

This little ax is perfect for camping, hiking, and hunting. Constructed well and well laid out The weight of the device is light. The price is certainly worth it.
