It appears that the handle is made of rubber and molded around the tang, with two screws securing the handle. About 3/4 tang would be what I would call it. Although the handle doesn't seem very functional, the blade is great (I like the ghurka/klingon look) and worth it despite the lame construction. The fact that it can be removed. In the future, I would like to get at least a few of my buddy's tools, and make a wooden handle for them.
China is the only place where Outdoor Edge knives are made. As OE is an American company, its design and distribution are based in the United States It is only the manufacturing that
The finish is black powder coat on a 65Mn carbon steel.
There is no way to replace the handle on the Brush demon since it is full tang. I would like to thank Jeff at Open Bay Trading. Thank you very much, Jeff

At first I contemplated purchasing a costly chopper blade to meet my outdoor needs, but once I found Outdoor Edge Brush Demon I accepted the risk due to my familiarity with the brand. Based on the durability of the blade, I was not disappointed with it and although I have not put it through extreme abuse, I believe the blade will last years before I need to replace it. As far as I can tell, the edge seems to hold For the price, it's an impressive piece.
It is attached to the sheath at the top by a strap- I think the straps are about the width There was a need for me to rewrite Make sure that you stitch the top strap down to the width of the strap to make sure the knife and the sheath are lying flat, otherwise it will bulge out at the back. Having a flat sheath now makes the sheath look normal and fit well. Keeping the knife and the sheath as they are, I like them a lot. Knife handle is good in your hand, and blade is nice, not too thick or too thin, and very nicely balanced.
My experience with this product is excellent for the intended use. For its intended purpose, the product is simply unbeatable at the price. I have used and abused mine on numerous trips and treks, and I have never been in the wilderness In terms of its cutting edge, which is the acme of technical perfection, I find its curved edge to be incredibly attractive. I think you would have a hard time beating it.
It is very lightweight and very durable and holds an edge without bending, denting, or chipping. I have a couple of blades made from it. A brush demon's edges do not hold an edge at all, as the steel is quite soft and dents easily.
I find the handle to be too thin, and it moves about enough while being used to cause blisters on my hand. I wish the handle was a little It would look great wrapped to add girth and comfort.
Thanks for sharing! It may be possible in the future to make future models stronger and more comfortable for the handle which would improve balance and handling.
A small brush can be cut with ease with this tool. The pie seems well balanced and to have been well made. The blade has a razor sharp edge, and the handle is comfortable to hold. The blade cuts through small brush with ease and even after hacking on a few branches, it will hold an edge for a long time with only slight scuff marks on the coating. It is an amazingly well made nylon sheath for something that is made from nylon. The knife is very good and I am very happy with it.
This is a very good The balance, the heft, the materials, and the speed are all He is sheathed in fine leather. The fancy sharpening is a waste of time To cut the rock, you only need a small file or a disc of uniformly rough rock.
