The fit and finish is better. They help you to create a circle which is nice. They've got their recessed face which is nice. They're a bit different than the super naturalist - a bit more compact. I believe they're the same steel as before, but I could be wrong. Hatchets like this are great. Its worth being twice as much as the original price is in question.

It's basically the same as a carpenters' hatchet sheath and it's available on our website.
As you mentioned I measured again and it wasn't quite as much on the first grind, a little off butt after a quick pass over an Arkansas Stone, I took it out and used it on the job and so far it has performed well.

Their customer service reached out to me via email after one hour, and the owner of the company, Rick Spencer, responded to me in an email. His apology and prompt delivery of a new hatchet attest to his regret over the error. The customer service I received was phenomenal, which was refreshing to me since I don't remember the last time I got service like this. There seems to be a lot of companies out there now that have forgotten what customer service is all about. I would think I was sent one of their testing hatchets by mistake. I am blown away by the quality of the new hatchet as well as the fit and finish. It has a perfect grain orientation on the handle and a razor-sharp blade edge, through which I was able to slice through paper with ease. You can tell that it is high quality by what it looks like and how it feels. I chose this hatchet because it fitted my Gransfors Bruks SFA perfectly. This hatchet gets very deeply into wood when it is used. I tested it on some wood I had to process and it works very well. A few pictures are included. In spite of all the hacking I did, the edge was still in excellent condition. There were no chips, rolls, Furthermore, it was still razor sharp so I was still able to make feather sticks from it. The hatchet also gets the job done without a problem. The wood in the pictures did not pose any problems for me when I split it. It is indeed an amazing tool, so if you are on the fence about buying it, just do it. You won't.
Despite its flawless appearance, and perfect weight, the hatchet head is very well balanced. There's a lot of power put into every swing, but it doesn't quite match the power of a full-size axe. The handle is well shaped to provide good power without being bulky. The original purchase was made by me.
In spite of its 10x higher price than cheaper models, this hatchet is 20x better making it the best value on the market. It hasn't shown any signs of wear despite being used hard for much of the time. It is my pleasure to inform you that the edge can be re-visited This thing was sharpened by someone of intermediate skill, and it would not be possible to break it with someone of my strength. It is my habit to use wood and plastic wedges and back end hammers on a frequent basis. It's rare that I like combination tools, but you put the back end down on wood and it Changing from two to one tool in the woodlot is much easier now. It's very nice that there is a leather sheath for this knife. I would not recommend anything less expensive than this tool, as this tool will last longer than I will and my children will be able to leave it to their children.
When I received it, I was afraid it As soon as I saw this file, I was blown away. I have sharpened it once due to a chip in it that wasn't as hot as that the prices while putting her under the file. My firewood is clean and I understand how to identify metal in wood. With all of this said, I hope there was just a fluke, but I seem to be the only one who has had chipping issues. I'll be honest. I was surprised that it had happened. That's a fantastic fix and that should have been easy to do, so I shouldn't have even done this A second bullet wedge had to be added to the pole as well. Since this was done, there has been no movement. Even so, I still highly recommend it. My apologies, I believe it may have been damaged in transit and I hope to have it resolved. In my opinion, it is well balanced and worth the price. A rust over night syndrome also causes it to rust over night, so it requires regular wiping down. However, I can assure you I am not the only one who does this. It is more difficult to hold up to the rust once it starts to work off. Life matters for those who hold a hatchet and an ax. As a person who's lost and hungry today, sponsor him/her. Whether or not to include this hatchet in your collection is up to you. As with me, head to check out and take a shot at the fence. He has lived a short but sweet life, but it has been full of opportunities. As you can see in the pictures, the spine has a hairline crack. I think it's about time to stake The last thing I want to do is get screwed over Being hands-on, I do not have a lot of time to spare so for me to go through the process of returning something would be inefficient. I dare you not to go pound it like the neighbour girl and get back It makes no sense to me that the "ordinance" steel would be so brittle. It's time to call the old keen kutter back into action. It's just that things don't seem to be made as well as Shame on you. Once I have a chance, I will update. I wish all of you a happy splitting.
Having to do chores around the farm is always a part of his job duties, so I was excited to get this for him for his birthday. It has been used maybe two times and he hasn't done much with it In the blade there are already several chips. Although we read great reviews of the book we ended up receiving, we were not thrilled with it).
