Questions & Answers

It looks like a Victorinox, but is it genuine?

This is what the stamp on the blade indicates.

What is the origin of this product?

Hello, any Victorinox product that is authentically made in Switzerland, such as the Swiss Army knives, and watches, are made by them. In all honesty, I bought mine almost 20 years ago, wrote a review for it, &c. Here are a few photos, in my review of the camera, I mention how I got it when I was in the floral business, and I am not a fan of it now It is still a tool I use almost every day at home for multiple purposes. There are still a few new Victorias I'm working on though. I have bought a lot of Swiss A knives over the last three to four years, & It's still the same quality and design, and it's still made by the same factory Their site offers more information, and you can check out the products there. Lastly, made in Switzerland should always be carved into all their pieces.

What is the origin of your family?

The short answer is Switzerland. The long answer is that Victorinox is a knife company based in the town of Ibach, in the Canton of Schwyz, Switzerland. Since buying Wenger in 2005, the company has again become the sole supplier of multi-use knives. Knives are provided to the Swiss army as their main weapon. The knives of their company are of good quality, which is why I have bought several of them Victorinox has been my favorite company but I've always had good experiences with both traditional and modern products. Thanks for the Florist Grafting Knife.

This knife has a locking blade, is it not?

Although it does not have a locking blade, it is able to stay closed when As far as I'm concerned, I've had no problems with it, and I use it regularly.

The Victarionox/"Florist Knife" is exactly what it says it is
5/5

My name is Roger, 43, and I live in Atlanta, Georgia Ever since I was ten, my dad brought me my first few pocket knives, and I just kept on collecting them until now It is known as the Swiss Army Knife. There were so many in all of those years that I don't know what happened to any of them. Just came here in Amazon to see if I could purchase one more pocket "SD" knife. I currently own three. My first one was four years ago, and I still have it today As a matter of fact, I use it multiple times a day. I gave it a think and decided to see if I could find the florist one I've had for 22 years, low and behold, it was there You can find them here, lo and behold. The Victorionox Florist Knife is red, like in most of the vintage knives you see. Back when I did seasonal work at a local Florist/Greenhouse nursery, I had one. My former boss was ordering some supplies one day when I approached him and asked if he could order one for me It's still in my possession, and I also have My experience is that I use it every day (mainly in the kitchen) in the same way as the SD version on my Pocket PC. I hate opening really super duper annoying plastic packaging that comes with a lot of crap, especially when they make you so angry. As you all know, whenever I need something sharp, I reach for this knife like I do with a trusty comrade, always in the same place by the kitchen cooking utensils, and after 22 years, it still slices through everything as if it were It's nice to know this is a real thing, so I hope this allays worries. I see, and I'm sorry! You should definitely check this out!.

A pocket knife from the past
4/5

Over the course of his life, my grandfather has carried that small red knife without quitting. His dexterity has given way enough that it is difficult for him to hold it. It is a knife that has a sheepsfoot and has a similar sized blade, and I purchased it for him to It is also easier for him to open when closed because the blade extends more from the handle. I predict it will be easier to hold on to the handle because it is larger in every dimension. Its yellow brass hardware sets it apart from others.
My only complaint thus far is with the poor A package had already been prepared for it. The ziploc bag has been torn. What is the purpose of putting it in one of those cheap plastic trays with a cardboard sleeve with the Victorinox logo on it? I don't think the packaging is appropriate for gift-giving Those who donate.

I was searching for an EDC that fit my needs
5/5

I have been on the hunt for a pocket knife for the past few years, and I have gone through at least five on my quest to find the right one. As a rule, I don't like pocket clips, since they tear or wear out your pants, get hung on things, and add extra bulk to the width of the knife. The next thing I looked at was the locking mechanism, do I need it for most of my daily The answer is no. It seems to me that a pocket knife that is the width of my palm with the blade extending the length of my thumb is the perfect size for me for a daily carry. I also think a slip joint is just right for a knife that won't poke holes. Another thing is its handle material and the color it needs to be smooth and rounded with rounded edges so it rides well in the pocket and does not wear anything out. Additionally, it needs to be long-lasting and brightly colored enough to make it easy to find if I drop it. In order for a blade to maintain its edge, it must be hard enough to hold an edge but soft enough to sharpen, and this is a balance challenge that many manufacturers overlook. Last, I want it to be affordable enough that I am not concerned with using it, abusing it, losing it, or giving I have checked some if not all of the boxes on my list yet, but only time will tell whether it will fulfill all my needs.

I like EDCs the best
5/5

We'll be sharing it with you as well. Let me tell you what I can An acquaintance of mine who has a career as a commercial fisherman first introduced me to this knife. According to him, everyone on the boat he fishes on uses this one. The first thing that came to mind was to pick one up. The music is wonderful. It's been my go-to knife for years and it's still one of my favorites. It's small, thin, sharp, and has great spring. It's amazing how much I enjoy using the blade profile for everything from cutting cardboard to scoring whatever I'm There is one thing you need to be aware of, though, and that is that it is only sharpened on one side. I eventually bevelled the other side of mine, so that it would be more efficient with Beautiful knife! I love it!.

Until one went missing, I had every Victorinox knife I ever owned except one, the Floral Swiss Army Knife (52860)
5/5

I have used Victorinox knives since I was a child, and I still have every one, except one. I replaced that knife with this one and I'm happy to say that they are still the same, hard-working, sturdy knives that I have been using for forty years. A year or two off. Only thing that has changed is that they are now available in colors besides.

Pocket and garden knife with a smooth handle that's easy to carry and use
5/5

This is the absolute best pocket knife I've ever owned. Knives that I had before kept getting caught on everything with their pocket clips, as well as looking intimidating to people when I needed to use them. You can't disassemble it to clean it because it can't disassembled to get the grit out of the joint. I bought it to be a garden knife and used it to harvest rhubarb, and it's fairly easy to clean and dry.

Great knife! I love it
5/5

A friend of mine, as well as my aunt For several decades, my grandmother owned and operated a florist business. The flowers for my brother's wedding were done by her and by me together at my home. She asks me to order one since she doesn't check bags, since this is the knife she always uses. My decision to keep it still resonates with me, and it still works well!.

With the quality of a Victorianox, in a light, compact Working with roses is a breeze with this tool
5/5

This razor-sharp, thin profile is lightweight and thin. For the blade, there is no need for touch-ups. Sharpening my knives when I first pull them from the box is the norm for me since I own so many knives. With this one, there was no need for a box (partially because it did not come in one). You can trim leaves with it or get rid of dead heads with it. When it is in your pocket, you can hardly tell you have it in your hand. This is great for cutting a few buds quickly without having to get the clippers out.
