The amount is two thousand Since I intended to use this version, I'll take it because I have used it. Great at cutting bamboo and wood. I find it a bit thick in and under the spine, but the convex profile is quite good for the price. The blade is a great purchase and I have never experienced any issues. It is made of super strong steel and is worth every penny. Honestly, I don't find the sheath to be all that bad. A knife like this is rare to find on a belt. If you're skeptical, ask your grandfather or cousin. Don't do it.
So that's that. I must say, this is pretty impressive. Initially, I was unsure if this would be a good product or not, but the design and D2 tool steel seem great to me. This thing just batoned a pile of dried red oak for my smoker (hitting it as hard as I could) and I noticed there was no difference in the cutting edge or spine at all. This knife is about 2 months old, and I have to say I am very pleased with it. Almost anything when it is in full swing is no match for this beast, just under a quarter inch thick with a lengthy, hefty blade. In any case. The fit and finish of the knife is lacking.
