Questions & Answers

Is 16 years old. A foot and a half are 6 inches long. Having 19" handles is to be replaced on an axe hand. I don't see how this makes sense. ?

Handle length is 19" on the actual hickory handle. Approximate size is 2 feet by 4 feet. As soon as the head is affixed, there is about 5" of useable handle. There are approx. The handle protrudes above the head by 12". Thanks for reading, I hope it helped. These are just the measurements I took.

Can you tell me how long this handle is?

This Hawk has a handle that measures 19 inches in length

I was wondering if you could put this handle on a cold steel Norwegian hawk. ?

This is a question I do not know the answer to. On the trail hawk, it worked flawlessly, but I have no experience with the Norse language. The trail hawk did not work perfectly with that method. My first time trying to put it on didn't go all the way. After using it for a while, it got loose and I had to reattach it A better position would have been more appropriate.

How does this handle look like when you hold it What is the best way to cut a wooden wedge slot? What is the price of the wooden wedge that comes with ?

To replace the handle on the CRKT Woods Chogan Tomahawk, this is a replacement handle. The wedges do not exist Tap the head into place after it slides on.

Several things need to be done
3/5

Here's what you've got to keep in mind There is a strong possibility that this replacement handle will not look like your original (I Because they are replacements, I believe they are of a lesser quality since, well, they're designed to be like that. It was in 1995 that I purchased my tomahawk The handle was perfectly positioned at that time when it was in the store. As a replacement, I received a thinner, rougher handle that didn't fit the axe head very well, and looked damp like it had been dipped in water- It looked like it had been dunked in laquer or water. An agent used to proof the paint (much sanding and perfecting was needed). While the handle is made of good quality wood, there doesn't seem to have been much time put into making it in the end.

These are the best handles I've ever had
5/5

In fact, CRKT's handle shape is different than a true tomahawk handle (they are ovals instead of teardrops), which is why I did not even bother exploring other handle suppliers. You should buy these if they are still in stock. Mine came with some beautiful stains on the wood. They're tough and so worth the money.

I don't know
3/5

The handle in question is a piece of metal. There's nothing spectacular about it. Original Woods Chogan tomahawks came with handles that were so firmly wedged on the heads that I had to drill them out to get the heads off. It seems like CRKT owes me a handle, to me at least. I had to sand off some kind of gross clearcoat from this one, and much to my dismay, it came with this coating. I mean, seriously, I don't understand. The product was bad, I will not buy it.

This is hickory with a straight grain

I'd like to thank CRKT for their help! Getting the job done right the first time. Besides 2 cold steel handles I had ordered, I am also acquiring a lot of wood for knife handles so that they would not break in harsh conditions. The grain on the wood going all over would be very damaging. Incredibly, the CRKT handle is mounted on a hand axe and can be thrown, chopped, and used in a number of ways. The Columbia River Knife and Tool has a great handle!.

It's a labor of love! It is of note that after 6 months of chopping trees for ground blinds and tepees for my ground blinds, my original handle of my CRKT Woods Kangee is still in perfect shape
5/5

This handle was purchased as a backup in case my original handle was lost, damaged, or destroyed. (I also throw it when I am stressed). In 10, you will need to use 13. Stealth rabbit has provided me with a low price of half off and free shipping from the beginning to end. This handle is a great fit for the Woods Kangee or Chogan, and I highly recommend buying it if you own these knives.
