This is a well-made item, but it is not water resistant.
GA is the only state where new Lynch calls can be placed. Allen Jenkins wrote the following. The first Lynch calls were made in Birmingham, Alabama, then switched to Thomasville, Georgia. A year after Jenkins purchased the company in 1970, they moved to Liberty, MS, then relocated back to GA six years later. I am sharing this information in hopes that it will be helpful.
It worked great, not sure how it got there, but it did.
You can let it produce whatever you like if you are good enough to make it do so. My personal problem with 2 sided boxes is that I find them difficult.

While I don't consider myself the best turkey hunter, I am pretty bad at calling the turkeys. It seems like I always mess up at least one note when using a slate or diaphragm call. I have been OK at box calls since it is just one quick motion that anyone can learn, but no matter how good I got, my old box calls were just not The call is to blame for half of that and I'm to blame for the other half. I spent way too much time researching and searching forums, reviews, etc. I did not want to get ripped off but I didn't want to spend a lot either, I wanted to get the best value that would get me a good sounding call within my difficulty level. The ridge at the top makes sure that the call doesn't travel too far past the box and interfere with the sound. As a result, the call is perfect. My favorite part of the ridge is the ridge itself. Yelps are easy, clucks are easy, and the sound comes out loud, natural, and incredible. The first time I used it was last year, but I got it too late for it to make any difference. Yesterday, though, I was practicing with it outside at 2PM because turkey season starts this weekend and I managed to call in a huge tom while just playing around. It is a game changer for me, this call. This is the first year that I will go into turkey season expecting to get something, which is new for me. If the turkeys are in the mood to gobble, they gobble at the call every time.
It is also beautiful, I am proud to own one of those items.
I really love how easy it is It is not simply yelping that I am talking about. In addition to clucking and cutting uncontrollably, it jumps around a lot. There is a lot of texture to the sound. The chalk seems to hold on really well to it, and that's one of the things I like the best about it. The P-Factor has always been a great TV show for me Since the start of the season, S Box Cutter has been very successful. I thought it was a nice call as well. The Box Cutter calls are also good, though I find that the notched design makes it easier to cluck and cut. The following was updated on 4/25/17 This call has become less satisfying to me. There was something happening in the spring and pivot point which led to it making a metallic sound after the spring and pivot were used for a season. It's hard to hear up close and a bird at a distance wouldn't hear you if you were calling from a distance, but it's quite disconcerting to hear when you are As a result, I took one star off.
The box calls in general are not that hard to master, so this would be a great call for beginners. We used a standard, tried-and-true box call that is designed to be easy to use. This yelper is quite loud, it cuts and peters okay, and it purrs very nicely, if you tilt the lid just so. The handset should be gently used on all calls instead of being a boomerang. The Lynch movies are classics, but this is a Lynch movie. call-it's retro, has a retro feel, the wood is beautiful, the writing on the side, and just seems like a cool piece of turkey hunting history that has probably caused thousands of jellyheads to suffer untimely deaths. In simple terms, I love the Fool Proof, even if I am not sure it lives up to it's name, and I won't use it as frequently as I might like. A Fool Proof is, however, the right choice for those who love the heritage of turkey hunting. Besides getting you a bird, it will also help you get a job.
The phone call I use has been a good one for me for a long time. The tone is rich and has a great rollover (high to low tone) like a hen. It can do it all (yelp, purr, cut, and cluck). When I was a kid, I used this call to kill my first tom. It was helpful last week for me to call in two Toms for some guys I was helping, and for me to call in my own Tom There is a good balance between quality and price in this product. Because this call works, I always buy it for new turkey hunters as a gift. It was so impressive to one of the guys I talked to that I bought one for him last week.
Throughout my fishing career, I've always used a mouth call. However, I've had less success in the past I used this box call for the first time on Saturday morning and managed to get a 10" beard 15 minutes after sunrise. It's easy to use and the sound comes through the box much further than my diaphragm rings.
This has been the first time I have been able to get a turkey with a mouth call, so I tried it and got a bunch of Toms Pure and powerful sounds are what come out of the box. I've been using this for a couple of days and have been very pleased with my purchase.
This weekend, I was able to make use of this call. A guy who has never used a turkey call before found it to work very well. The only downside was that it is extremely loud and if the Tom is coming in hot, you may want to get it quieted down? I just have my opinion on this. I think this is a good call nonetheless. Your expectations are sure to be exceeded.
During the basic calls, she could pick up the calls in about 2 minutes. This is the best call for someone who is new to turkey calling, as well as an ideal call for someone who has experience.
