Hello, that really depends on what you are flipping through. Adding 1/4 oz-up to 1/4 oz of water if you are flipping brush, docks, or rock, and not directly into thick stuff Approximately 3/8 oz. Three eighths of an ounce is what I prefer. When it comes to most applications, I typically throw 3/8. As you are flipping INTO heavy cover and weed, you will need a heavier weight so that you can push through the cover and get down to the sweet spot where the bass are. A half oz drop can require as much as two oz of water. There are some guys who can punch with two and a half ounces but that is very Here in the North East, I usually make it through most mats with just one ounce. When you are on a beach like one in Florida, the mats are Several species of Hydra live in the United States. To get through that stuff, you may need 2 oz of weight.
Depending on the size of weight you get, but for the 3/8 oz you get two per pack and I believe that was the case for the 1/2 oz as well
To reach the bottom, use a weight that is heavy enough to penetrate the cover you are flipping. The amount to be used is between 1/2 and 2 ounces.
That's not the case, in my opinion.

Dropped the weight on a controlled line while adjusting the reel tension and the paint chipped off the first time it touched the ground (softly). The rest of the time, I guess it serves its purpose, but so far I haven't used it for fishing. In an update to my original review, Reaction Tackle contacted me almost immediately after I posted it to apologize for the experience I had with the product, and by the time they responded, they had more than made up for it. Having already made another purchase with them to improve my tackle box ahead of spring, I intend to make another one in the near future. Until now, the best customer service I have experienced in quite some time has come from Chad H from Reaction Tackle. You went above and beyond and I am assured that I will be a recurrent customer in the future.
I was extremely pleased with the service provided by was hosting the MLF Toyota Series and I realized I needed some flipping weights. The weights got here in 2 days just in time for the tournament, and I was very impressed. The weights are top quality and reaction tackle is your go-to store if you're looking for tungsten weights.
Tungsten bullet weights are - The bullet weights are made of tungsten. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service. Originally, I thought the 3/4 ounce and one ounce would be combined, but I guess there was a problem with the inventory. It must have cost an arm and a leg to send one small package. My thanks go out to you.
During trout fishing, I use it when I have to throw out 100 yards or more. It is usually the bigger trout you catch when you go out there. Several trout of this size, including a 24" Brown trout and a 20" rainbow trout, are excellent for casting long distances. Sinkers like this are hard to go wrong.
After trying out a few other brands of tungsten in the past, I will no longer use them. Reaction tackle's tungsten weights have the strongest finish on them, and even after banging them along rocky bottoms, they hold on tight. To me, flipping is one of the best ways to catch bass, and these weights are up to the toughest of My weight box has been completely taken over by these things. You guys make a great product! Thank you so much!.
This sinker is awesome. It is used on plastics rigged in Texas and Carolina. Vegetation is easily navigated. It has not been long enough for me to get a good feel for their I would give it a definite 5 star rating other than that.
I'm finishing up some older lighter weights before tying on one of these. In the future, I'll be ordering more.
Three eighth ounce and one ounce of both sizes were ordered. like the size of the weights and it's pretty easy to cast and flip with them. This product has already been used three times, and I was very pleased with it. The strength of my braided line is 7 lb and 10 lb. I check my lines every time I fish and I don't see any abrasion.
