The float is used to indicate if a fish has struck and nibbled. When the fish take the bait, it is very responsive. The line attachment was easy to do and it did not creep down the line as it was being used. It doesn't make a big splash in the water when it is cast. It is ideal for fishing in streams and lakes.

Some people say this isn't a slip bobber, but it is one if you use it correctly! You don't want the wheels to slide unless you put them below the last spring

The bobber sinks completely, it doesn't Quite disappointed, but I guess you get the goods We bought them because they seemed to be the same as we had, but when we used them, they did not float at all, they sank immediately as soon as we cast out the fishing line
