My kayak is used for fishing and I normally have three rods sticking out of it next to one another. The lures and lines that I would tangle while on the water would take too much time for me to untangle. Once I got these covers, I was able to fix the problem! A spinnerbait, a Whopper Plopper, and other bulky lures will fit under them. It's easy to put them on and take them off, and the Velcro keeps them in place well. In addition to being great for using on the boat, you could also use them for storing and transporting things. Their purpose is to prevent things from getting tangled and prevent you from getting hooked on things. This is a great product!.
The lure covers do what they're supposed to, however I do a lot of winter fishing, and I've noticed that with cold temperatures, the plastic starts to become very stiff and brittle. It would be the ones made of solid fabric if I could do it again.
