It's possible if you use it enough. Whenever your equipment has been exposed to saltwater, I would recommend ALWAYS cleaning it with fresh water. There is no material that is completely impervious to salt water.

I like this bag a lot! It is perfect for fishing in the surf. I do not know the dimensions of the artwork. It is easy to hold a 3600 sized box on the front. A day out in the city is easily accomodated with the ample storage. The side compartment is large enough for a water bottle. In the pocket where the side rod is stored, there is a place to fit a flashlight. On the way home, I stopped by the Jersey shore to fish. I caught a double header of fluke and triggerfish. Trigger I have caught north of Florida for the first time. It appears that the bag is well-made and very sturdy, and offers easy access. The best book of the year!.
There's enough room in the main compartment to fit everything I need for a quick wade into a pond without having to take my huge tackle bag, and the smaller compartment lets me store Having a couple of rods on hand and being able to cast make it easier to grab a couple of rods and go fishing. A general statement It is the right size for everyday travels. While looking for a tackle box in the KastKing store, I stumbled across this one and absolutely loved the idea of being able to carry your tackle and bait in addition to other supplies you wish to bring without feeling restricted by a heavy backpack or clunky box. The pros are There is plenty of room for storing more tackle, reel boxes, a jacket, any additional tools and even some food or snacks in the back pocket (main pocket) when used with the included box. Although the rod holder was initially designed to hold one two piece rod, I was able to securely fit a total of two sets of rods. As a result, the "self healing" zippers actually tighten up gaps. I did find that some of the pockets were gapped, but I was able to close or open the zipper all the way and fix the gap with ease. I like how you can zip up and hide the water bottle pocket as well as the rod pocket with ease. A few cons It is only a little issue, but when you wear the backpack, the adjustable strap has no option to be secured to the bag and is just hanging off. If it came with a strap holder, or with a rubber band or tucking it away, that would solve the problem, but it would be nice. A second point found that when I take it off, I reach for the grab handle at the top of the bag to make it easier to pick it up or set it down. The last thing While it may be water resistant, it would be nice to see a more water-resistant zipper. If I am on the paddle board or kayak, it would be easier to not have to worry about my lunch getting ruined by accidents. Other than that, this is the perfect little backpack for the quick trips, and it doesn't have a lot of unnecessary stuff. You don't want to carry a whole arsenal around, but need to still be able to move your arms and hands freely.
The amount of crap I bring with me when I go fishing is always too much. Most of the stuff that I bring with me when I go out of town is never used. As a result of trying to reduce the amount of tackle I bring, I decided to switch from a regular backpack to this. This has been a great experience so far. Also a huge bonus is the tackle box that comes with the bag because it's a very nice box that fits neatly into the front section of the bag. Although it's price might be a little high compared to some of the similar bags you can find on Amazon, I still think it's not too bad considering what it does. My experience with Kastking customer service has proven they stand behind their products, so I am willing to spend a few bucks more for a brand I have been using for a long time.
