My opinion is that it isn't
You can remove the neck strap if you wish
The belt straps on my pants did not hold either. Simply taking the belt strap out of the buckle, turning it over, and placing it back through the buckle the same way as before, I did the same thing. Regardless of how tight you tighten it, it holds perfectly now, and it won't slip which is a great benefit. You should be able to use this as well.
This is just a rough calculation. About 60" is what I would say.

I'm so happy about my I like this bag for its quality and price. It stays on my back while I'm fishing, and it has many different pockets to hold everything I need. My net slides into the pouches that seem to be designed to hold it between the lumbar padding and the pack's pouches when I wear it as a lumbar pack. When you are behind the net, there is padding between you and it. There were no problems with the straps slipping like some other reviewers reported. I obviously couldn't keep water out when I fell in, but it stopped splashing pretty well when I stood up.
I found the pack to be everything it was advertised to be 1. There are two things to be noted. It was not worth the extra money for me to have an over the neck strap, which rubs along my back. 3.
It was impossible to adjust the waist strap clips with the elastic stays inside them despite jamming them into the clips. Repeated the process over and over So that the pack would stay on my hips, I adjusted the straps. The other points are, the bag is the perfect size, the construction is sturdy, the zip handles are rubberized and perfectly sized and it has the design that I was looking for.
The fly fishing waist pack I had was falling apart, so I searched around for a waist pack that I could use for fly fishing that did not cost hundreds of dollars. Looked at, you know that some of the big boys offer some really pricey packages. Regardless, after returning the first one, I got this one from Allen, who has a similar one. Now that I've used it a dozen times, I know how to use it. I've already raveled the shoulder and neck strap stitching, and I can see the decorative stitching coming apart on the front. It's not waterproof either. Contains an inside zipper pocket that is waterproof (the inside also has a zipper pocket). It tends to catch my fly line on occasion as the zipper handles are a bit strange. With use the pack will lose its shape over time. There is no such thing as too much storage. That's how many bugs I have and the rest of my Honestly, I think I'd prefer the compartment to be in the That's all I have to say. A vest has been part of my wardrobe for the last hundred years, and I In the event I win the lottery, I will get a "good one. ".
As far as transitioning from a vest to a waist pack is concerned, I had only one hurdle to jump. Some reviewers expressed disappointment with how tight the belt straps kept the belt in place. This happened to me, but it wasn't a big deal, because I found that tightening the belt strap on the opposite side of my waist did the trick. However, it is a good value for the price and the quality is excellent.
It's been a while since I got this pack wet and well all my lures were wet so I had to open the boxes and let them dry out. It's a great pack that Purchasing it for what they are asking now would be a bad decision. I'd return it and shop for I like that it holds a lot of equipment water gets into the bag, but aside from that it is.
You can easily access the pockets as they are large and roomy. I highly recommend this book! There is nothing wrong with this pack. The large number of compartments makes it easy to locate things. This has been added to the There should have been sliders on the waist belt because it came loose too often. Adding this would be a good idea. As well as the shoulder strap, I really appreciate being able to use it.
A lot of space for a full day on the river, minus lunch of course. The prebuilt net holder at the back of the pack makes storing your net simple.
Whenever I tried to open the front pouch, it got stuck. I saw this from someone who wrote a review, so I tested it when it arrived and found it to have the same problem. The zipper immediately broke on the river, and I didn't want to risk losing my stuff because I didn't want to risk my stuff coming undone on the river. It wasn't worth the risk at the price point but I didn't expect to get much for the money. My favorite thing about the bag is the layout and how it fits around.
