Having just received this recently, I cannot comment on its longevity or its performance at this point. However, I can answer two questions which I had before I purchased it 1) The 2 small boxes that come with the 3700 Edge Terminal Tackle box fit in the 3600, tho it is a bit tight. A shoe can basically be worn as a shoe Horn can be found in a few of smaller clear-cuts There are some top boxes, but they are too wide for the rows of the 3600 so they do not seat comfortably, and you couldn't fit two next to each other, because the dividers have to bend to conform to their width. It is possible that at some point the dividers will crack from the strain. This was an enormous missed opportunity for Plano. In order to get a fancy high-speed internet connection If they were compatible end-to-end, you would think they would have done it. I am a generalist in fishing, so one of those 3700s fits enough terminal tackle for different species and types of fishing for me. There is room in the 3700 for a couple boxes to be taken out, and the 3600 could be 'packed light'. At heartbreakingly close to fitting in the square hatches of the Hobie Pro Angler, the 3600 is an inconvenient size. They come with waterproof 3600's in the square hatch, but the edge series is perhaps 1/8" too long for the square hatch. In fact, they actually fit nicely within the hatch, but the little insert that holds them and keeps them in place is awkward It has a pivot that pivots the tackle boxes (if you own a PA, you know what I'm talking about). Although on the whole, I think the edge series is well made, I am concerned There is a possibility that the super clear plastic is more brittle than the regular dull, semi-opaque plastic Tackle box lids are usually made of this opaque plastic.
It's almost there. . The box you are looking at has been soild. Even if you don't know you want it, you want a one handed latch that is sturdy and simple. This box is like Plano was taking ideas right out of my head. Keeping the little moisture cylinders that come in bottles of Advil and other medications has proven to be a good idea. Plans have a removable and reusable moisture remover, as well as chemical rust inhibitors that have been molded into the plastic. I am pre- I think they missed a few things that could have made it great in my book, such as dividers that wouldn't have required cutting, twisting, or shaving.
Here they missed a few things that could've made it perfect in my opinion. (The slots for dividers should have been more frequent, giving you more options in my opinion. ) However, it would have been nice if there were more slots as opposed to their predecessors. Also, some hooks can still be seen outside of their compartments, but it isn't as severe as in previous models. The box must be turned over and shuffled to find out which hooks have come loose. It just takes a few strips of clear silicone type padding to cover the lid, and as I have been doing in boxes so far, I glue them to the lid. There is no way this wouldn't be an upgrade from what you got unless it had all the features of this box without the 2 problems I found. It's not for you, but be on the lookout.
It took just five minutes for water to get into Then you can definitely say it is would like to know if the waterproof claims are true or if there is something I am doing improperly that may allow water to penetrate the plastic It is disappointing to me that the company and its actions are being pursued. Make sure you are careful when buying. This is a neat idea, but Plano needs to find a way to waterproof it.
The quality of these looks really great, so I was hoping they would be great. A demo model was purchased to try it out, but I ended up returning it because I was disappointed with it. Despite not testing if it is watertight, I imagine the spray will eventually escape and most water will be kept There is a possibility that it could leak if submerged for a long period of time, but it cannot be ruled out all the time. The one that I liked was this one - It was great to have a latch that opened by hand and dividers on the side. Here are the 2) The box appeared to be considerably heavier than the packing a tackle bag with 4 compartments, take the following into consideration We would see a significant difference if we got 8 of them. 1) The box's water-wicking divider had been pushed out of alignment slightly, and one of the lips that holds it in place had broken. That would have reinforced my suspicion that the plastic was more brittle, even though it could easily be relocated to another one. multiple lures per section in a normal box, you will be disappointed with this box, since there are fewer pockets. There is just a bit less space to put in many baits, which is harder to achieve. Since you are familiar with carrying small amounts of bait loosely, this will not be a problem for you. However, it wasn't the right fit for me. Five) They are obviously significantly more expensive. The main reason I chose them was their tighter fit and, therefore, a lack of Initially, I hoped I could simply move my lures from one box to this one, but this proved to be difficult. It may have been a good investment for me and I'd probably keep it and maybe buy The only issue is that I cannot afford to spend a lot of money. This would mean having to reduce the amount of tackle I take with me.
Basically, I bought all the series of crank bait boxes and it was a major issue with the small crank bait box. I wanted to warn other anglers before it causes problems with other boxes. I don't recommend leaving the tackle box on the deck because it's an awesome handcuff. My favorite part about it was I thought it was perfect. After noticing how the lines on top of the box magnified the sun, I immediately began to worry my brand new megabass lures might be deformed by the sunlight. It would have been much more enjoyable if someone had warned me beforehand. Although I would still use it, I would not leave it out.
In comparison with a regular 3700 box, these are significantly heavier. In a system that can hold 5 or more boxes, the additional weight will be felt. brittle and I have already seen that it is not as durable as the metal. The result of one fall is more than just a crack pieces break off too. I do not understand why doubling the cost would be justified by a significant drop in durability. Furthermore, these are manufactured in Texas and are located a long way from Plano. Please increase prices and reduce manufacturing costs shame on you, Plano. I will stick to the old school method it works well for me.
