Fish such as flounder, stripe perch, and pile perch can be caught using these. The dropoff of the piers has also been an excellent spot for juvenile chinook, cut throat, and sea run steelhead trout. It is recommended to add very small pieces of salted shrimp or squid to these in addition to the salt. My sabiki rid are normally quite large. I ordered a size 6 and a size 4 and both are somewhat large. Saiki rig hooks are really small, so I don't recommend them. It still caught me a lot of fish like bait fish.
