Questions & Answers
It's been a while since I ordered ice blue, but I've used Orange as well. It's not really that important since I always tie in a length of fluorocarbon leader either directly or with very small swivels.
A 10 lb mono wire with a diameter of 4 lb mono is the equal of 10 lb
The recommendation would not be a good one. I recommend ice fishing in this area. There's nothing to be proud of. There is a Suffix 832 for sale at Chaos Fishing in Florida. The price is crazy low. For summer as well as ice fishing, suffix 832 is the better line to use. My opinion is that these ice lines are overrated and are just a way to charge three times the price.

During my Mackinaw fishing trips, all of my rods are treated with this. However, the suffix 832 does not come in 75-yard spools, so I don't like it as much. The line needs to be long because I fish in up to 100' depths, and fish take the line after hooking up, so I need to extend the line. I have never had a problem with this line, and it performs well during cold temperatures. Due to its propensity to absorb a little more water than the 832, slightly more ice builds up on the guides. This is why it only received four.
This line works great. I have the 10 lb line (4 lb mono dia) on light & heavy and hope it does the job Rods with a medium action and the 20 lb(8 lb mono Dia. ) on a medium. This article is heavy and complex Jig rods with a lot of weight. An average 75 yard spool barely fits onto the Berkley reels that are used in the legacy and legacy+ reels Lightening rods are usually attached to a power source.
Ice fishing is very good with this rod.
The suffix was just what I expected it to be!.
It is good that the diameter of this line is small, however it is definitely tough.
I have used it for two seasons now. Jigging with this line does not have to be difficult because it is very strong with practically no stretch, so it is very positive hook set in addition to having a good "feel". I enjoy fishing for lake trout a lot, in water that is 140 feet deep at times. Generally speaking, the 50 yard reels are not quite enough the 75 yard reels are the perfect size. We are using line from the previous two seasons on other reels and there has been no degradation to date. The Sufix reels I have been using for ice fishing will be replaced with more. It’s probably the best product I have used so far, but Fireline Ice comes
Is it prone to icing? Well, every line builds up ice, but Fireline's is much less build up than any conventional line we have ever used. What little ice does build up is easily washed out with the reel. You've said it so well!.
