I recently (about 8 weeks ago) began attending those classes. Veteran's Choice is a great program which has been of great service to many (including myself). For several weeks now, I've been searching for my own fly tying equipment. I found this one to be pretty much fit for my needs. There is no difference between what is shown in the advertisement and what is described in it. The rotary vise is not as expensive as some of the higher end models, which can range from $350 to as much as $3000, but it actually works well and is built There is a very sturdy carrying case with plenty of padding to protect everything inside from bumping against one another while traveling. It's also worth mentioning that all the tools are of high quality. Many of the tools appear to be made out of solid brass and other metals that are sturdy. Today, I gave it to my tying class, and the instructors and the other students all came to check it out. I am very pleased with the whole set. My friends were asking me where I got it and how much it cost, so when I told them it was $120 on Amazon, they were elated and said it was Amazon just got a new sale from me, I am fairly certain. I was able to get started with everything I needed with this set. During the past 5 months, the jaws of the vise have not met precisely and over time it has deformed a bit, so that it will not hold hooks of size 22 It took a lot of smoothing out to make sure one of the bobbins didn't snap off my thread due to the pliers' poor grip. Overall, the tool kit is a great tool for the most part, and it comes in a nice case that will be put to good.
