Fishing rods were ordered to be repaired with this. My wife was very pleased with it, but it was difficult to get the thread going through the long tube - she used the straw off of a plastic broom to make it work. There might be any tricks to this, and I am still trying to figure out how to do it. In general, this purchase is worth its price.

I use it to hold my spools, and it works well. I don't want to break my line off, but there should be enough tension on my flies and jigs to wrap them properly.
