It's a great starter kit for my husband who is new to fly tying. Vice is a high-end product. If you're buying as a gift, this is the only recommendation. Get a light and a magnifying glass, at the very least!.

This is an excellent starter kit. In this box, you'll find a bit of everything. The vice is of higher quality than the majority of the other vices I examined. It's a much better set than what you'd get from Cabelas.
