I own a small pontoon boat called a sun tracker. Is this a standard wheel?

There are no "standard" features on a boat. Without modification, this will fit the spindle on my SeaStar hydraulic helm. Check to see what brand of steering mechanism is installed and confirm that it is the same size as the new wheel hub.

Is this made of 304 or 316 stainless steel, or is it just stainless steel that has been plated?

It isn't plated, and it hasn't corroded after two years.

It's both strong and attractive

This is what I used to replace my 13' Boston Whaler's crappy plastic steering wheel. With one socket wrench, I removed the old one and installed the new one in under four minutes, and it fit perfectly. It's a solid, well-made product. This is a great deal, especially for the price, because the boat has been on a lift on a saltwater river for several months and shows no signs of corrosion or rusting. br>It's a must-have!.

Once you've gotten rid of your old steering wheel, this thing is a breeze to install and looks fantastic! NOTE: There are finger indents for grip on the back of the wheel, which is not smooth metal. I was surprised by this, but now that I've used it on the boat, I'm glad they're there.

Love it! My 20-year-old boat now has a fresh look. It is simple to put together. Don't think twice about it; just go ahead and do it. Remove the nut and washer, then use a hammer to smack the center rain. The old steering wheel was easy to remove.

So far, it appears to be in good condition and was relatively simple to install; we'll see how long it lasts. I've only been on the boat for a few days, but I'll try to post an update in a few months.

Your plastic wheel needs to be replaced

The diameter of your wheel should be measured. This 13 was the same as my old one. I gambled that the collar and bolt arrangement would work in a 5" size. Everything is in good working order, and it looks great.
