Yes. 3/4-inch round shaft steering systems from Seastar
The sheering connections on most recently constructed boats are standard.
I think the whole metal steering wheel looks better. My old steering wheel was covered in a plastic/foam cover, which was getting very hot.
It has only recently been snapped into place. I thought it was perfect just the way it was.

Fantastic value for money! This is an excellent steering wheel for the money; I installed it on my 2007 pontoon boat's console and it immediately made it look newer and more classy. It's well-made and comfortable to drive with. I used silicone spray to lubricate the suicide knob, and it now works perfectly (though not as smoothly as the ones with ball bearings). When docking or steering while standing up, the knob is a game changer. This is by far the most cost-effective upgrade I've ever made to my boat. If you want a destroyer-style wheel, this is the one to get.
For $30, this is an incredible deal. In my Boston Whaler, I replaced the unsightly plastic wheel. It was amazing how much of a difference it made. br>br>If you have reasonable expectations, you will be pleasantly surprised. Similar style wheels have been seen for $300, so you may be disappointed if you expect $300 quality. However, for the price, the quality of this wheel is exceptional. br>br>It looks and feels great. It'll be interesting to see how it holds up over time, but it appears to be sturdy. It's something I'd strongly suggest.
For the money, it's a good wheel. It's difficult to turn the knob because it's stiff. It would be nice if there were multiple keyways so that the knob could be indexed in different positions. My boat now has hydraulic steering, with the knob centered at 6 o'clock after bleeding. On some boats, this isn't an issue, but it gets in the way on a compact center console.
When I installed hydraulic steering, I discovered that my old system had become so stiff that it had bent the steering wheel shaft. As a result of the improved steering system, we decided to replace the wheel. The knob is fantastic; it makes steering with one hand a breeze.
So wow. This is a low-cost option that looks and feels fantastic. I've got a deadline to meet. I really need to pamper myself more in this area. Since I purchased this property, I've done very little. This is a fantastic visual and tactile transformation. It's impossible to say how well it will hold up in the long run, but the first impression is that it's a fantastic product.
A gear or wheel puller, which you can rent for a low price from an autoparts store, is highly recommended. If your old one is stuck, use PB Blaster and a hammer on the center bolt. Overall, this is a great value for the money and improved the appearance of my boat.
This was a perfect fit for my Bayliner bowrider from 2001. Spray a little penetrating oil on the bolt and wait a few minutes to remove the old steering wheel. using a hammer to lightly tap the shaft br>The new steering wheel is attractive and comfortable to use.
