That's how I've had mine set up for the past three years, and it's worked flawlessly.
There wasn't any in the box. A gasket and a few screws are included. A mount must be made, bought separately, or cut into the dashboard or console.
It can be seen in the product images.

This is a fantastic collection of pieces. up, and it's a good investment. One of the switches' internal lights did not work, which was the ONLY issue I had. It wasn't a big deal for me because I replaced it with my own toggle. I would have given it a five star rating if the seller had responded to my request for a chance to make things right. Sucks. I'd like to give it a five-star rating because it looks great in my 21 Pioneer dashboard. The only other issue I have is that it's difficult to see what the voltage gauge reads during the day, but I'm getting old, as are those I hang out with, so that's not a big deal.
I needed this switch to upgrade the electronics on my old Bass Tracker, and it worked perfectly. The middle (yellow and blue) wires, which keep the small indicator lights on all the time, were disconnected. It wasn't a big deal; I just didn't want the battery to be drained, even if it was only a small amount. As a result, the switches were transformed into standard five-blade switches. The switches themselves are well-sealed when it comes to water resistance. The switches were unaffected by rain, and the panel itself has a narrow rubber gasket that seals against the console or whatever you're attaching it to. The switch panel is very nice. To be honest, I wish I had gotten the 8 gang instead of the 6 gang because it would have allowed me to add more components later.
The volt meter shorted out after being caught in a rain shower on the boat. Several switches started glowing like they were on. The rain didn't come down hard enough to get my wallet wet in my pocket. Purchase is not recommended.
Simple to set up. Components of high quality. The wiring is in great shape. The circuits' fuse holders were removed as the only change I made. I connected the panel to a fuse block, which protects itself with its own fuse. Access to the in-house library In my installation, line fuses would have been difficult to use, and the redundancy would have been unnecessary. It'll be interesting to see how this holds up over time, but so far it's looking good.
I have a john boat and needed to run a bilge pump, fish finder, navigation lights, and led spot lights, as well as charge my phone and plug in my trolling motor. It's a well-made unit that works flawlessly and keeps a very accurate volt charge on the battery. I'm very pleased.
The product was very easy to set up and is excellent value for money; the only reason I did not give it five stars is because of the wiring setup they used. There are four power sources available to this unit. There should only be two of them. The factory should connect all three incoming sources to the fuses. Let's face it, everyone will connect those three wires, so it's just an annoyance that it wasn't done beforehand.
br>Right now, I'm running on a single 12v battery system, and I've turned off the panel's full-time lights but kept the voltmeter connected. br>I am seated at 12 o'clock. With nothing turned on, the voltage is 3 volts. br>All of the switches are functional and simple to install.
