Our SurvivorCord XT parachute cord is currently only available in Black, but we plan to offer a variety of colors and lengths starting
A lighter is used to seal the ends of SurvivorCord XT, just as with any other paracord. Simply cut SurvivorCord XT to the length you want and seal Waxed jute can end up burning like a fuse, according to some people. Clearly, such a thing is not true. As with nylon threads, waxed jute will snuff out and melt into the ends.
Cords like this one are similar in most ways to regular paracord. Compared to the smaller version, it is a bit stiffer and larger. Although they might not snug up quite as well, it does not affect tying knots. While the cord has some differences, they are not enough to keep me from using it, and I am glad to have the extra survival items built in.

End of story. I've been using Titan's Survivor cords for a few years and have enjoyed the strength, durability, and convenient extras it has integrated into the cord. This cord is the only cord I ever carry for camping or hiking. With the introduction of their 3rd generation Type IV 750 SurvivorCord XT Titan has raised the bar for cords of this type. I picked up a hank of this new cord in February and I am pleased with my results after 5 months *br* - Despite its weight of 110 pounds. Friction saws made with Kevlar strand are great and it is a fantastic material to use for various things There are so many things I can do with utility line. I could definitely spend an entire day listing them. I will. - My favorite feature of the dark green braided fishing line was that it was as easy to use as dental floss after I caught a nice bass using the cord on a pole created from a stem of cane using the friction saw method explained I will. - Whenever tinder is needed, the waxed jute is a good choice. I will. - Marking branches for orientation or as an aid in locating is the purpose of the red and white strand. The final two things I would like to mention are In my first thought, I thought the SurvivorCord would be a bit stiff, but I found that Titan's replacement of the 30 AWG wire with Kevlar and the use of braided fishing line, actually makes it more flexible than their previous generation SurvivorCord. I am truly amazed at how well the internal strands of the dress have held up against extremes such as the sun, rain, and other elements prevalent in tropical regions. Mold will sometimes grow on paracord, and constant sun exposure or just plain rot will break it down My friend, this stuff is not for you. For testing Titan's claims, I recently used some strands to lash together a simple tripod that has been exposed to the conditions above continuously 24x7 for four months (at the time of this review), and the tripod seems to be doing just fine! As my default go-to SurvivorCord device, I will continue to use this new version of SurvivorCord XT I do not have cord. I do not have cord. Barest, Charles.
It also compliments the other items such as jute firestarter, braided fishing line, and top cover. There are many basic needs to cover in camping and survival gear with top-notch paracord. The company got back to me within a few hours with an answer to my question. It is always great to deal with this company. There are many of their products that I own and they all are good quality and reasonably priced. Cordage is such an important part of your kit or bugout bag, and this survivor cord is smart addition to it.
I am so glad I came across it! It is only marginally thicker than the Original Survival Cord in diameter - it provides the same level of security as the original. It comes in a 1000-pound package. XT Survival Cord. The best I've ever seen The weight is 1,000 pounds. Waxed tinder strands made of 100% jute and are resistant to water, along with a heat resistant 150-lb handle. There is a strand of Kevlar (useful to make friction saws, or to hold food over an open fire, or to bind anything), and a line of 25# test braided fishing line, all nicely wrapped with a Velcro closure cord. You can also add the lifetime warranty provided by Titan. There will never be anything with the same level of performance (unless Titan releases a newer, improved version if it is even possible). The Titan paracord, the Titan Survivor Cord, and now the Titan Survivor Cord XT are all I have. I've never seen anything like this. The contents of an emergency kit, get-home bag, or bug out bag should include a first aid kit A bag for the trip. Titan Survival deserves credit for accomplishing what they have when it comes to saving your life or the lives of your loved ones. Kudos.
I just received my new SurvivorCord XT. It is stronger and better than anything I've used before. It has been my experience that SurvivorCord is a top quality product. However, I was surprised to discover that the new, stronger SurvivorCord XT is virtually indistinguishable from the original despite adding 3 more strands of strength and improving the survival aspect. This improved, braided fishing line is much easier to handle and tie than the original brass/copper wire. It is much more versatile than the original brass/copper wire as well. Titan hasn't let me down with any of their products and they are my go to vendors whenever I need more paracord. Highly recommended, you won't find a better set of products or vendor that stands behind them like Titan.
As a dedicated user of Titan's SurvivorCord, I have been using it for quite some time. There are extra lines embedded inside the core that make it the best cordage for any purpose that requires paracord. But now, with the release of their 1000 pound weight SurvivorCord XT, they have outdone themselves in the cordage category. I have never seen stronger cord than this one - it has the highest test strength I have ever seen, in addition to being a fire starter, fishing line, and filament. A 950 lb Kevlar cord is the closest thing I have, however in a survival situation, it can be a problem. Titan's SurvivorCord beats Kevlar in every way. It slides, does not burn, can't be used as a fire starter, etc. Kevlar does not cut or burn well. EMS is my profession, and I can't trust my gear unless I can rely on it. When I can do the job with one thing, I'd rather carry five. In the new SurvivorCord XT, I know my health is in good hands We need to be safe and healthy.
It is extra heavy duty. Military issue cord appears similar to the cord used with this product in both appearance and haven't cut open the blanket to inspect the integrated threads, but I am confident they are there, including braided fishing line and even waterproof This cord will be used to weave a number of projects, and I will keep some in my vehicle as an emergency supply. It is a resource I hope to never need.
