It appears to be attractive. There are no issues. I haven't installed it yet, but a side-by-side comparison shows that it is very similar, if not identical, to the other piece on the upper portion of the bow stop bracket. I'm not sure how I got rid of this one, but only time will tell if they can withstand whatever killed the first one. NOTE: The "first one" was on the trailer when I bought it, and it was probably old, but there was no cracking or anything unusual about it. There are no issues here because the shipment arrived on time.
After the third time I took my boat out of the water, this snapped in half. I attempted to contact Shoreline, but the website address they provided was blocked on my computer. Then I went to their phone number and clicked on it, but there was no one there. They claim to want to assist, but where have they been?.
A boat trailer has a rubber thing on it.
We made it work despite the fact that the dimensions were off on the one we received. It's not too expensive to live with.
Because of a separation at the center of the vblock, my motor cut it up on the first trip out and I had to put a towel between it and the motor.
It's rubber, it doesn't do anything except keep the boat in the groove, and there's not much else to say about it.
I didn't buy it to use as a bow stop; instead, I used it to make a shooting tripod for my air rifle by combining it with an old camera tripod. It's fantastic!.
The thing smelled like a petroleum product, and it's awful. I'm sure if I inhaled it all day, I'd have respiratory problems, and I think I do!.
