This is what I used on my Minn Kota Ultrex. With the self-adhesive self-adhesive, the universal SONAR cable would not stay in place. I decided to use this sleeve instead of the adhesive cable guides I used previously. It can be used with the logo visible or turned inside out for a cleaner appearance. The length was ideal, and I was able to completely cover both cables. I considered making a sheath for myself. I was hoping to save some money, but this was a great deal and it works. I gave it four stars, but after field testing, I may give it a five-star rating. I suggest using one of these to secure your transducer cables while also cleaning up the front deck.
The stitching that holds the velcro to the fabric is garbage; I just put them together to see how they looked, and when I tried to pull them apart, the stitches broke and the velcro came off the fabric. Don't waste your money; I'll take it to a local shop to have it re-stitched, or toss it because I'm sure the replacement they send will be of similar quality.
Already starting to fade. It's great for keeping cables and wires in check, but it was installed in May and is already turning grey in August. When the boat isn't in use, it's also covered.
It appeals to my tastes. The wiring is cleaned up. It was very simple to set up. It appears that the quality is acceptable. Wrap it around yourself and let the Velcro take care of the rest.
To keep all of the wires from the transducers, hydrowave, and other devices neat and organized, this is an absolute must. This should be standard on all new trolling motors, in my opinion!.
There is no need to cut anything. I've got a lot of power cords and transducer cables wrapped in this, and it looks great.
This sleeve keeps all of the wires on the bow neatly tucked away.
When my trolling motor is not in use, my cable is stored on the side rail of my boat. To protect the gel coat, I purchased this. It appears to be ideal for the task at hand. Strong Velcro and a soft neoprene material.
