With a little tweaking, the cables work well with the Minn Kota Battery Box. The red positive stud on the Minn Kota Batter Box measures 3/8" in diameter, while the black negative stud measures 5/16. " Only a 5/16 stud will fit over both ends of these cables. I chose to cut the end of the Red positive cable to fit over/on the Minn Kota Battery box's Positive terminal. Easy fix. You can also trim the end if you're handy. Install a 3/8 connector with an open or closed end. Mine was fed through the hull of my Kayak. They were attached to the Upeor 5/16" Stud Premium Remote Battery Power Junction Post Connector Terminal Kit, which can be found here on Amazon. It's extremely clean. I needed a simple way to connect my Minn Kota motor.

The Newport Vessels Trolling Motor Battery Cable Extension Kit is made up of high-quality parts, and the cable pair itself appears to be well-made. The red and black cables' ends, on the other hand, have 5/16-inch rings on all four ends. inside diameters of 1 inch br>br>It was better for me to buy separate components for my application. The Newport Vessels cable's 5/16" rings were too loose for my 1/4" battery terminals. My Minn-Dakota's terminals are 5/16" (black) and 3/8" (red) are the dimensions of the Kota 1820175 Trolling Motor Marine Battery Power Center case. The 5/16" rings on the Newport cable will fit the black terminal but not the larger red one. Finally, I had to purchase individual components in order to construct my own cables with three different ring sizes.

I needed to extend my power cables, and this worked well and was much faster than soldering. Over it, I covered it with marine shrink tubing.

I bought them to extend my cables back to the midship position rather than the aft position. My Honda 9 is a fantastic vehicle. Because of the location, 9 cables were too short and difficult to reach the batteries, and I couldn't use my onboard charger. br> It's a little pricey, but it's well-made and comes with everything you'll need to create a professional extension.

The double O rings on this extension set were particularly appealing. My trolling motor's U connectors are much better for connecting to the battery.

Perfect for powering my trolling motor with dual batteries. I expected the electrical tape to be cheap and thin, but it turned out to be quite good. If you need to daisy chain them, they come with the nut and bolt.
