It is true that the motor is closed. In any type of water, there should be no problems.
The total weight of the shipment (included in the box) is 26 lbs. The cost of the shipping carton and inserts is estimated to be three dollars. 4lbs. The trolling motor is estimated to weigh between 22 and 25 pounds. 23lbs. Thank you very much.
The problem with all of these manually controlled trolling motors is that the heat is shunted in order to control the buildup of heat in the control arm, which wastes some battery power. However, by connecting a pulse width modulator between the motor and the battery (and removing the control arm), you can make your own control panel to control the forward and reverse speeds in a variety of ways.

Before I could test it, the prop rubbed against the drive shaft, and they closed the return policy after two weeks.
I'm a fly fisherman, and my father gave me an old boat. The old engine screamed like a maniac. This electric motor allows me to get to the middle of the lake in silence, smoking like an old woman at a casino.
Excellent motor that is simple to set up and maintain.
This motor was simple to set up and operates quietly. Taking a boat ride without a load motor is so relaxing.
I would not buy any other motor because it is so good.
Quiet and strong.
This motor propels my 14-foot V-shaped V-shaped V-shaped V-shaped V-shaped V-shaped V It was easy to move the hull around and the battery usage was reasonable. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a motor to purchase this product.
This is my first review of a large number of items that I have purchased. For my 14-foot Blue Fin aluminum boat, I purchased the C2 55 trolling motor. I live on a 400-acre lake in Michigan, and I use my boat to go fishing and swimming on the other side of the lake, about a mile away. The C255 took the place of an unreliable 15-horsepower Evinrude. The C2 55 propels the boat between three and five miles per hour. At speed level 5, 5 and 5 knots are possible. It runs in a very quiet and smooth manner. I installed a deep cycle battery, which has now powered the boat for two full trips across the lake without needing to be recharged. So far, everything about the motor has worked perfectly; yes, the Evinrude pushed the boat at about 10 knots when it was running, but what could be nicer than a quiet trip at 5 knots without having to deal with an engine that started and stopped randomly? All I have to do now is lower the motor and turn the handle to Forward, and I'm ready to go.
