Questions & Answers

Would a fish be able to see better a 15lbs line or a 30lbs line? Regardless of the size of the lines, are both equally transparent under the water?

There is a line on the screen that is extremely transparent yet My eyes can almost see the heavier line in the water more than the lighter, so I’m guessing that the fish can as well. Also consider the flexibility of the line and how it will affect the presentation of your bait.

Is it a good idea to tie a Palomar knot in 40#, or would that be Big Northern is the way to go! ?

You'll still be able to tie the knot, but I think a metal leader would be better.

In what ways are Seaguar blue label and Seaguar premier different?

The diameter of the Premier label is smaller than the diameter of the As well as being more stretchy, it is more durable.

In what size does the crimping take place?

The line weight would be affected by that. You can find O on Seguars' website. There is then a match in the dimensions. It is not uncommon for me to tie knots with line that weighs as much as 50#. A 50 # braid and a 50 # leader caught and released a 12 foot nurse shark last summer.

It is TERRIBLE to purchase Seaguar Fluoro Premier 12 Pound Fluoro
3/5

For many years, I've been using Seaguar Blue Label 15 pound Fluoro as a leader. I've never had a problem with it. The majority of my fishing has been saltwater trout, so I decided it was finally time to try a smaller pound leader after hearing everyone's advice. According to my research, using a thinner makes it easier to manage I can get more bites from shy fish by using a fluoro leader that is lighter. It was only natural for me to step up to the "Premier" product since I thought it was better in every way. The only thing that I had to do was move from the 15 pound blue label to the 12 pound premier line, but the 12 pound line was much thinner and should likely catch more fish. As a leader, I fastened my 4 reels with Premier 12 pound fluoro to the reels of my tournament fishing rods. first cast of the day resulted in my losing a brand new Johnson Sprite spoon after the line snapped. When I went fishing today, all four of the premier 12 pound leaders snapped. Due to the leader breaking, I lost 3 brand new lures. In every case, I was able to verify that the leader had broken and not just come undone because of the knot. The premier fluoro definitely won't be used again after this experience. . . I don't know if I just got a bad spool of it or what, but I can guarantee you I will never use it As a result of buying the line and having to replace three lures today, I am almost $50 in the hole.

You should only purchase the best fluoro
5/5

If you don't know much about fluoro and why it is so awesome, here are a few things you should know The following items were discussed in class A large portion of it is invisible to the naked eye. Several reasons explain why this is so, including the fact that it has the same refractive index as water (light travels through it in the same manner as it does The video is pretty ** Please use a strong written word. There is a lot of it. It is perfect for use as a leader since it sinks with the bait while your braid can float freely. The following three sentences are in full. Abrasion resistance is one of the most exceptional features of fluoro. It is much stronger than mono. The truth is out there. The following four points are highlighted in blue. Keeping your line straight is easier with a stiff line How much more can a leader ask of you? The following are five points to take into account There is no elasticity in it. There's no stretch or flex to this stuff like mono. The next aspect that makes it such a great leader material is its ease of use. Feels great on the hand and has great hooks. The following information is important for you This stuff is stiff, as I said. It is important to tie a good knot. The braided line that I use usually has a double uni knot tied around it, while whatever I am throwing usually has a loop knot tied around it. I have simply found this combination to be most effective. Well, I guess my leader length is right. Water conditions and blah blah blah determine all of these things. My usual knot is a braided / fluoro knot, but I normally tie on around a 4 foot section since I don't usually like to reel my knot The above practice is not exactly scientific, since I have caught fish with as little as a foot or two of line. The choice is entirely up to you. As a result of wear and tear, I replace the leader when it looks frayed, damaged, or cracked. My boat fishes the backwaters of Naples, FL, and I usually pair fish 25 to 100 pounds I usually use 30 lb fluoro with 15 lb PowerPro braid in order to catch Redfish, Tarpon, Snook, Seatrout and Mangrove Snapper, among other species. There's something about this stuff that works for everybody. The fluoro I use is the only one I have. I can throw anything at it and it holds up well. *Edit
A picture of the first fish caught with your new spool of line can be found below. Enjoy!.

This is an outstanding product
5/5

I decided to switch from steel leaders to fluorocarbon so I could still use my usual fishing techniques for more line-shy fish, so I bought both the 12lb and the 50lb for northern Two FG knots, and one uni-knot, were used to attach the hook to a braided line An attachment knot so that it can be attached to a clasp or swivel. My first few attempts at knotting with these were not successful because the line was stiffer than I'm accustomed to, but after a few attempts, I was able to get solid knots. In my experience, I was blown away by this product. A 33 inch northern devoured my lure and fought heavily on the 12lb leader, which I believe to be a great selection. The diameter of the tire is 009. Though it thrashed with this monofilament fluorcarbon leader brushing against its teeth, there were absolutely no signs of wear or abrasion on the line. I can vouch for the quality of this product, they aren't lying about it.

It is an incorrect picture of the product
4/5

Due to the package that was shown in the advertisement, I specifically ordered this line (I already have Seaguar gold standard). The package you showed me appealed to me because it looks slim and would be suitable for travel on a 30-inch device My canoe trip is about a hundred miles long and I haven't much room. The line comes in a very large package which seems out of proportion. The spool is over an inch thick, which is pretty huge, considering all other lines come in a slimmer Each player is told that they get 25 yds, and that's not much. do not need to package it in an oversized box in order to make it look like you are getting more than you actually.

It works great for Yellowtail Snapper fishing in Florida and use it for Northern Pike fishing in Europe
5/5

The Yellowtail are very line shy and I am able to use 20# test where my partners are limited to 15# using the Seaguar Blue Label I am able to land larger fish than anyone else on the boat because of this. If I'm fishing for pike, I use 30-pound test reels I used 40 # test instead of wire leaders and have not yet been bitten off. I have also managed to catch a few Zander (Walleye) on the 30#, and they are also.

The first string of a ukulele made with this string is great! A great leader in saltwater fishing, Seaguar Fluoro Premier excels in a variety of applications
5/5

ukulele strings and classical guitar strings alike are great with it! There are a number of versions of the 50 LB model. String A on the tenor ukulele or guilele with a diameter of 022" is the perfect tension for a high tension first string (or a light tension first string for a The quality of Seaguar materials is an amazing characteristic, as there is a consistent diameter that ensures good intonation, long sustain and a clear, sweet tone with a Additionally, it is glassy smooth, so it makes no noise when you pick or fret it. In addition, it has a very durable feel and can last 3 or 4 times longer than nylon without fingernail abrasion or fret abrasion eating it.

The picture does not accurately depict the item
4/5

I like the actual leader line more. I only gave it 4 stars because I wanted the package as shown in the picture so it would fit into my gear bag easily. This line actually came on a regular spool manufactured by Seaguar, and because it occupies only 25 yards of space on the spool, it fills just one layer of the spool, which I don't think is a good idea. There was a picture in my mind that I'd like it to come in a plastic pouch that would fit neatly in a.

The only problem is that it's The equipment worked well for fishing salt water fish in the Florida panhandle where we caught some very large-sized fish without breaking a line
4/5

It's really stiff, which makes it a challenge to knot. Having no qualms about muscling a 25lb Red Drum into the boat knowing the leader wouldn't break, I hooked it right away.
