Since several years ago, I have used it for salmon with good results. I was able to get a larger quantity at a lower price than other options, and it seemed to work as expected. Strong knots and good resistance to abrasion make it a good choice for boat rope. While I wouldn't know why it would have been designated specifically as salmon, it does work great These options are in addition to the half dozen others Salmon leaders are usually about 6 feet long, which may have forced them to include more leader material and label it for salmon fishers who tend to tie just a dozen leaders out of the 25 yard spools instead of 25 that can be tied from the 50 yard reels.
This cord is much more stiff than the blue and knots much better, and it costs only a quarter as much
There have been problems with the light line . I would go with the #20 at the very least, It's more visible at #10, but still loses much fewer fish if I stick with maxima. While you may gain a few more hookups with STS, since it is brittle, especially when used with braid mainline, you will lose more fish. Test out a piece of the STS by breaking it with an overhand knot first. In #10, my 5-year-old child broke it with his hands, so I ceased using it thereafter.
All types of saltwater fishing can be done there. I wish you all the best

All Follow products are 100% fluorourethane, so how can they be different between this product and the Blue Label, Premier, and the Premier? In terms of marketing, I think they've fooled people. Identify the difference in performance among the three Seaguar lines and the different fluoro brands. There are not many differences to see as you can see. Tests have shown that the STS is far stronger than the premier, while costing far As a result of Amazon's policy, I can't give you links, but here are some links to the Sportfishing Magazine "Line Test - 2019 " Tests are performed and 101 lines rated between 30-100 are compared Click on "Pay per pound from manufacturers such as Power Pro, Berkley, Sufix and others" on Nov 6, 2014 to see more details.
This week, I traveled to Alaska with a salmon trip, so I purchased this line. When all was said and done, however, I was quite disappointed with the It was clear to me I was going to love this line when I saw all the positive reviews. Though my spool may be defective, I'm not sure. I always ended up with a broken line at the hook or swivel when I casted. In the wake of a few lost tests, I switched from this 20 lb test to a different brand weighing 12 lb. Thanks to having brought that extra line, my trip would not have been as easy as it was. Despite the fact that I caught tons of salmon, zero of them were caught on this line, so it may have had a bad spot, but after losing more hardware than the line was worth it seemed pointless to continue testing until it improved. All in all, it was an unfortunate waste of time and money.
As a leader, we use 25lb for larger rainbows and lahontan cuts, about 4 feet long. You can attach this to the mainline if you like. Apparently there was no second guessing with these lures as they were totally indistinguishable in the water, resulting in trout hammering them without any hesitation. The trout, which were 20 to 24 inches long, were netted without any breaking of the line. I love this stuff because it is so For the life of me, I could not pull myself out of the snag. There would just be no snap in the line. Using scissors, I cut the line. I've got plenty of material left over after tying a leader with a 100 ft piece of this stuff. The purpose of this line is to prevent our magnificent large STS from being wasted by being left in the lake with a piss poor line and hook. My best wishes to you on your fishing expedition. Good luck!.
Comparing these to shorter and much more expensive leaders, you can't really tell the difference much in terms of statistics. When it comes to security, the best way to test it is by shining a flashlight on it at My teaser that was on mono did a whole lot like a reflector while the leader did not reflect light at all. Additionally, the knots were much easier to tie than my mono and also retained a smaller amount of.
I found that 40# was most effective for tuna and the thinner lines for yellowtail My background in fishing the Florida Keys and using this as a professional charter captain led me to use this product. Find out more about food chain fishing on Google.
Fluorocarbon is the material of choice. All braid is now When I saw deals like this, it made it more feasible to use this stuff for leaders, even if it can get expensive fast. My experience with the knots has been good and I've had no Fish are either caught in sand or on rocks for me when I fish the surf. I have not encountered any issues with the Jaguar.
Very happy with my purchase. This line has fantastic knots and is amazing for the price. In the course of fishing for kings, I used this tool and tied a great Albright and Egg loop to help me land a 15-lb Further purchases are on the way.
I think it is very wrong.
