Questions & Answers
As opposed to other lines of the kind, Invizx is a "softer" more limp line that is more user friendly to use as a "casting line", while other lines of the kind are made to be difficult to abrade and less stretchy For the most part, lines are designed with specific purposes in mind. It is important to read up on each maker's line recommendation, I am set up with all different types of line styles depending on the app I am using. In addition to braid, mono, and fluorocarbon, there are leader and rig lines, which is also the reason I have at least 20 rods and spare reels, which drives my wife insane. A philosophy of life I'd like to order 1 of everything.
This material is similar to monofilament in its diameter. As for Seaguar fluorocarbon, I like how it spools smoothly and is more limp than others.
Having fished for 50 years now, I have a lot of experience. The line I have used is Vanish, which I consider to be the worst. As others have stated, when you use this stuff, your lures and fish will vanish. It's basically Berkley XL that I love the most for freshwater fishing.
Selected User Reviews For Seaguar Invizx 100% Fluorocarbon 200 Yard Fishing Line (8-Pound)
After spooling, about half of the line was backed and the remaining half was filled with almost all of the line. Approximately 75-80% of my energy was spent on food There are not more than 100 yards remaining I measured them. It is 25 yards long. It's important to check your "line counter" now. There is good news to report. The line appears to have low memory, is small in diameter and strong enough to tie substantial knots, but I've not fished with it yet.
There were a lot of fish in the water, and they fought fiercely. Fish were snagging fresh 4x tippet at a rate of more than 7x. My kit happened to contain a spool of Invizx 8lb. Using a non slip loop knot, I was able to keep them wriggling nicely even after they were wet. It took a lot of effort and leaps for those monster bows to take my flies, but I managed to land them in the end. My next trip to hunt giants I will be sure to have more of this flouro.
Cheap is typical for me, and I tend to buy bargain line simply because they haven't ever broken yet, but I was getting more and more frustrated with how cumbersome it was to tie a knot A special emphasis should be put on finesse knots I am amazed at how poorly those knots held in the cheap line. Seaguar's quality really shows not only in the water but when tying it to braid as a leader or to terminal tackle as well.
This is a problem I've never seen with Seaguar line. I always have no problem using Seaguar line but not this line. It literally falls apart as I wind the reel. What is the purpose of it? In the manufacturing process or during shipment, did the product become too hot? The possibilities are endless. The only thing I know about it is that it is defective and ineffective.
The 8lb line can effectively catch fish when it is put on a 2000 spinning reel. The memory on this device is fairly low. The 17LB Invizx reel we got to go with it was such a hit that we got another one. Although 17lb is not a small memory, it is not low memory. It is highly recommended to buy the 8lb Invizx rather than.
It is 72 years old for me. Since I was 7, I have played and written about fishing. This is the first time I have encountered such a variety of knots in one line. I wasted at least 1/3 of the line trying to spool it. All that was left was a pile of trash. Another purchase would be better.
My goal has always been to try floracarbon line, but I have read that most are a nightmare to work with Since I started testing this line, I have noticed that it has less memory than some of the hybrid lines I have used in the past.
This is the best leader material on the market. My decision was not questioned and no one was allowed to change it.
