Questions & Answers

What's wrong with you selling 250 pounds?

I don't know what will work better than a 100lb leader if it can't bring in the fish you want. With the 100lb leader, I have caught grouper that weigh 300 pounds and sharks that are 9 feet long

I'm fishing the Santa Cruz Wharf for halibut and some smaller fish and want to know what the best weight to add to a Power Pro Braided 30 lb & 10 lb line is. ?

There is no general rule of thumb that I am aware of. This determines your choice of weight, and it's determined by the weights (actually diameters) you use for your two lines and the connection knot you use. To tie a FG knot, the diameter of the leader must be larger than the diameter of the braid. This blood knot works best when both diameters are close together. I work at an uni- It doesn't care much about the diameter of the uni knot. There is no exception to this. It will look a bit ugly if the diameter of the leader is larger than the diameter of the braid. *br> *br>You'll be able to choose what FC number to use based on the knot you choose.

Can you tell me what the difference between this and the 200yd spool of the same Seaguar test is?

harder shelled and stiffer than 15 yard leader. That type of leader material is used. Casting is easier with the 200-yard spindles, which have been made softer. In exchange for abrasion resistance, you give up durability.

I would like to go with either a #12 or a #15 leader with a #20 braid for salmon/steelhead fishing. What should I choose?

There are teeth on salmon. It is better to put a salmon on the line for a longer period of time in order to land it. As well as it being invisible, fluorocarbon also makes it more difficult for fish to bite through it, increasing your chances. I just noticed your question after two years I was unaware it had been two years since the question was asked. It is a necessity for me when I go fishing.

This leader line is perfect for monster redfish! With a couple of friends, I used this in Venice, LA this winter and managed to catch 30+ lb bull redfish without a hitch
5/5

The line is still holding up well! Our company loves this leader line! Will be buying more to make sure In our case, we used the 15 lb test line and we did not have any break due to the lack of strength.

This is a super clear flouro
5/5

Whenever braided line is used in finesse tactics, this must be exactly what you need as the leader. The sheer clarity of this stuff made it difficult to tie fg knots on a few of my baitcasting rods, where I lost sight of it while doing so. In fact, it is said that fish that have been exposed to high levels of pressure are susceptible to this line tied to your bait, which makes them focus on the bait rather than the line. When I've had a chance to spend some time on the boat with it, I will update this review.

Leadership is great with this
5/5

My 12-member team uses it as a leader The braid is wrapped with a 7-inch uni to uni knot for 20 pounds Several 3-foot catches were made on each side. The largest largemouth to date has weighed 6 lbs. This line has not caused me any problems so far, just make sure you tie your knots correctly and pull them tight and you should be fine. The cheap swevels I use break before the line or knots give. I like the fact that it is practically invisible in the water.

Knot strength is high, it's tough, resistant to abrasion, and it's abrasion-resistant
5/5

My local shop offers Florocarbon at a lower price than the stuff offered in my neighborhood. To share with the guys I fish with, I bought extra. The leaders thanked me again because I had provided them with the right material Our fishing equipment is consistently good, has excellent knot strength, and is extremely resistant to abrasion. (And we're fishing in oysters and near.

A very disappointing experience
3/5

A very disappointing experience. There is a problem with the line. Yesterday I finally got around to using it. I cinched the knot with gloves on then began pulling the line to cinch the knot and the line snapped. When I tried pulling apart the line, I had trouble getting it apart each time I wrapped the line around gloved hands. So after a few tries (where the line kept breaking), Had I checked the line before the return period expired, I would have been able to return the goods.

A fluorocarbon that is superior
5/5

The time period. Seaguar is known as the best fluorocarbon available, so no one can argue with that. Leader that is suitable for clear water or in areas in which abrasion resistance is needed in a smaller leader size. This is a 5 star rating.
