In the same way as others, I also took a risk here. It was a second fishery rod I needed to keep in my RV, and I wasn't expecting much for the price. However, it meets my expectations far more than I expected. I've landed 8-pounds. It was hard to imagine it being at the limits of its ability with a 10lb carp on it. I am very impressed with the build quality, and I think it looks like a much more expensive rod than it really.

With an Amazon Lightning Deal, I was able to get these two combos at an amazing price. In my case, the reason I bought two kits was that I bought one for my son, celebrating his first birthday, and one for myself so that I would be able to teach my son the same way I was taught how to fish by my father. As the father, I did not want his kit to be a child's My goal was to make him feel important and confident by showing him that he used the same rod and reel combo that I was using. In both of the kits that I purchased, the colors were blue and black. Colors that look very professional, with a very nice color combination. Unlike the fishing pole and reel, the fishing reel has a blue and black finish that matches nicely with the fishing pole. In addition, the rod extends very nicely and does not bind up when it is extended. Bearings used in the reel enable it to spin freely and has a lovely feel to it. There are two handles on the reel so that you can adjust the side of the reel that you feel most comfortable using. A professional feel and appearance surrounds everything I hold. I feel comfortable in my hands. I chose this kit because I wanted to get a nicely packaged fishing kit that had everything I would need to just take it out of my truck and use it at the lake if I was given the chance. Travel rod of very high quality. The rod breaks into four pieces and is much stronger than the telescoping rod I have. I wish I had this when I was on Oahu last week. I really love the quality of the paint and how it looks on the product. As a result, I'll be using this to catch bass in the harbor and to catch surf perch.

From the model number, it looks like it might be a Ghotda brand with better paint jobs. Crappie only needed one more telescopic rod to keep him busy, so I bought one to help him with that. It seems the bushing may have put pressure against the housing since everything is working again Although the reel was full of oil, it was not very dirty.
