I had three uses in mind for the vacuum sealer system: (1) to keep food fresher for longer in the fridge, (2) to avoid freezer burn when freezing food, and (3) to cook sous vide with the Anova Culinary A2. I couldn't be happier with this system, which includes these NutriChef rolls, and the two Sous Vide Precision Cooker Bluetooth that I purchased alongside it. br>br>FRIDGE STORAGEbr>Excellent. br>br>FRIDGE STORAGEbr> I tried it with fresh beef, for example, and it kept the meat fresh for at least three times longer. br>br>FREEZER STORAGEbr>I haven't put it through its paces yet (no long-term storage). However, when I opened the bags with frozen food, I noticed fewer ice crystals than usual. No punctures were found in any of the bags, indicating that the material is of high quality. I don't have to use Tupperware for some foods, so it saves a lot of freezer space. The frozen food that was transferred from the freezer to the sous vide was delectable, which leads me to the next point. Great. br>br>SOUS VIDE COOKINGbr> Much more convenient and probably safer than zipper lock bags. On one occasion, I cooked a piece of chuck beef sous vide in a ziploc bag for about 48 hours, and the food had an odd taste of what I assumed was plastic. I later cooked another portion of the same chuck beef, with the same rub, for the same amount of time in a vacuumed bag made with the NutriChef rolls, but this time the piece tasted delicious without any weird plastic taste; it was just a single observation, but because the material of the NutriChef rolls is much thicker than the ziploc freezer bags, I decided to never cook sous vide with anything other than the NutriChef rolls if cooking for more than 12 hours. The food in the vacuum-sealed bags keeps well in the fridge or freezer and cooks beautifully in the sous vide without leaving a plastic taste; the bags seal well with the NutriChef vacuum sealer. I haven't found any open bags in the freezer or sous vide, so I can't compare these rolls to generic brand rolls because I've only tried these. I've already reordered these rolls, and I'm about to reorder their larger brother, the 11' width (which works the same as the 10' width but is wider). If you have a NutriChef Vacuum Sealer, ordering these rolls should be a no-brainer.

This is an excellent investment. For the past 9 years, we've had a food saver that has stopped working properly. We didn't want to spend another $100 on a new one, and the bags were expensive, and a roll only yielded a few bags. The length of these rolls is staggering. The new sealer and bags are fantastic.

I really liked the ones that came with my nutrichef vacuum sealer. I tried a different brand, but they didn't seem to be as thick as the nutrichef bags, and they didn't seal as well. I decided to buy the nutrichef bags once more, and I'm glad I did. I've had no trouble getting a good seal on my food, and it tastes just like it did when I first bought it.

This is the most cost-effective way to purchase these bags because I can customize them to my specifications. Allows liquid or dry filling. Easily withstand the suction.

When it comes to freezing meats, the vacuum sealer comes in handy. It's simple to operate and maintain. For small kitchens, this is a good size. It's very convenient to have bags and rolls for cutting specific sizes. I tried to freeze fresh sweet corn that had been cut off the cob, but it was too liquidy. Overall, the NutriChef Vacuum Sealer has exceeded my expectations.

This is an order that says it all. Unfortunately, these bags had ripples in them and would not vacuum or seal properly, so I was completely satisfied with the product. After contacting their customer service, I received my free replacement bags within a week.

The ease is appealing to me. I wish the bags were made out of biodegradable materials. biodegradable The bags should not be washed and re-used, in my opinion. used.

I couldn't find a link to the actual product because it was out of stock, but I did buy the PKVS18 in stainless steel. My kitchen will benefit greatly from the sleek design.
