These glasses are perfect for me because I have a big head. I've worn them for both shooting and everyday wear, and they're durable and comfortable. I'd say $80 is the most I'd be willing to pay for them. I've been keeping an eye on these and plan to buy some of the polarized ones as soon as the price drops. The optics aren't quite as good as Maui Jim's, but they're comparable to the majority of plastic Oakleys. They're comfortable to wear for long periods of time and have fared well in drops into gravel and onto concrete.
Overall, the quality is good; it hasn't fogged or been scratched. The gray non-polarized lens is dark enough to allow for clear, comfortable driving in direct sunlight while remaining light enough to use at an indoor shooting range. The only problem is that it doesn't even come close to touching my nose, so if you usually wear glasses with a low nose bridge or an Asian fit, these are especially bad for you, and they don't have adjustable nose pads. I did, however, place an order for some black stick-on hair extensions. The glasses now fit perfectly thanks to non-slip silicone nose pads purchased on Amazon. Nobody could tell the pads were there because they blended in so well with the design.
This pair of glasses is insanely cool. They look great with a hat, and unlike some glassware, the arms don't get in the way. They also work well with hearing protection that is worn over the ear. These shades are big; they're a little big for my face, but they look super tough with a buff on.
They're tough, come in a variety of tints and polarizations, and are even ballistic-rated. They've served me well in a variety of situations, from driving to shooting on the range. They're fantastic.
For work, I've been wearing Magpul glasses for a while and they've held up admirably. nice in- If your Oakley SI account is inactive, you will be able to choose between the two options.
