The back is padded and the seat is comfortable. Everything you could possibly need is in the pockets. Although the cellphone pocket isn't large enough to fit a 7+, you can be sure that there is one there that will fit it someplace.

The only thing I would change is the strikers were on the external side of the vest. They should sit vertically in your arm. However, the clips are still low enough that one can see them easily. I wish the seat clarion was a magnet for quick and easy setup.
