I believe so! Just made without a floatation device at the top, so u can move your arms smoothly to better cast your fishing pole. Around the waist is where the life jacket part goes.

This is a functional PFD that can be used for recreational activities

It is a very functional and comfortable PFD for fishing or recreational use. This isn't a suitable PFD if you are looking for something more streamlined for sporty activities. In order to avoid maintaining multiple PFDs, I wanted a multipurpose paddle that could be used for kayaking, fishing, and possibly paddling on a SUP. This pocket is extremely durable, and it's a great place to store keys, coins, Attaching a whistle is easy thanks to the convenient attachment point. However, I had to exchange the small one for a larger one since it had very thick panels. If you have a large or extra large body, you probably need to go up one or two sizes.

I like the fact that I can move freely

Very comfortable to wear. The construction is excellent. A 3x would be appropriate for my height and weight of 5'1" and 235 lbs. Though I should have gotten a smaller size, I was able to make it work after tightening it all the way.

There are only a few sizes! It is inaccurate to use the measurement chart

The chest measurement of my 40-inch chest gave me a small/medium size. I had a very tight fit in the vest. The item had to be returned and I had to pay return shipping. It would have been easier for me to order a larger size if I had not been charged shipping.

It's a good boating vest

The design is well thought out and it's In spite of never using it as a flotation device, I have two on my fishing boat that my son and I wear when we are out on the water. A lot of adjustment is available for the straps, so the fit is good. Fishing gear is well arranged in a lot of pockets.
The zippers and straps of this bag are made of high-quality Being able to breathe through the mesh is very appealing to me. It's hard to describe it, but the color blue appeals to me. The color is not used for safety purposes, but it is a nice color for everyday.

The size of my clothes is There are two versions of the 2XL We had to exchange size 3XL for size XL. Great item with a nice quality and I appreciate that it is approved by the USCG.
