Questions & Answers

Do I need to worry about my broad heads becoming dull if I do this?

Your broad head point will not be damaged by the target, but the razors will dull after each shot, similar to when you shave your face with a shaving razor. The cost of one broad head on one shaft is what drives me to use only one when sighting in. For three, you will pay 300. As soon as you're done sighting in, change the blades with the replacement ones that come with the three pack. That target is awesome. It can really take a good deal of damage.

What if you use blunt tips to shave ?

For foam targets, it is not recommended to use Blut tips. Small game or stump shooting is all most people do with them

Is it reasonable to expect a 7-year-old to shoot at ten yards away The arrows can be pulled from this block at a distance of 20 yards at a draw weight of over 15 pounds, isn't it?

It does seem so to me. I shoot a 75 lb bow at about 330 fps, and I have had to turn it on its side and use my knee as leverage to pull out the arrows. I wasn't seeing stars then either because I was straining so hard. *br>An average draw weight of 15 pounds probably won't penetrate deeply enough to make pulling out that hard. The target should also be relatively warm when this is done. As the weather gets colder, it gets more difficult to get the arrows out. I'm sure this thing will last forever.

Is this suitable for a recurve bow with target arrows and a 28 lb weight? Do you think it won't penetrate deeply ?

The material is soft and has been comfortable for my young daughter to use. The best target I own out of the six that I own is this one. You can easily withdraw arrows from it, despite its durability. You've hit the mark!

It is impossible to remove bolts without damaging About 10 days were needed for me to receive the package, not a major issue
3/5

It was a perfect day for a garden work-out I went out in the yard and we talked The Boss 405 crossbow (rated at 405 feet per second, rated at Killer Instinct, Boss 405) fired 4 bolts after just 2 weeks. The bolts are 20 inches long, 400 grains, and have 100 gain tips. (No There was no way I could get them to move! Trying to pull an arrow with an arrow puller doesn't work. I tried everything I could think of, including getting my Dad to participate (he laughed his head off throughout the process as well). snapped 2 of them off, and it was easy to pick up a broken bolt with pliers & pick it up That's what you need to do. Growing up in northern Michigan, I was always interested in athletics. I. & I. It was late October with low 40's, so I figured the cold was just making things worse. During the night I tried leaving it in the fireplace (about 4' away) and it was still wet. Then he proceeded to destroy the last two trying to free them. I contacted the seller (via Amazon) and tried to resolve the issue It was of no help to them. Here is the photo I sent them. This is an example of the phrase "s & w" It defines words. It was suggested that I log on to You Tube (which I already did). 2) & 3 Afterward, I sent them 2 broken bolts that would not come out, and a picture of a crack in the roof. It would also not come out with two bolts I left in there). The review was not positive. I'm returning the product to Amazon as soon as possible The next target needs to be researched a bit further. This feels like a robbery to me.

This target is great for broadheads! It was the second target I had purchased for bow practice, the first being the "Morrell Double Duty 450 FPS Field Point Archery Bag Target" that cost about $70, and it was well reviewed
5/5

It has received quite a bit of punishment and I would give it 4 stars for having endured fairly well although it is not the most well built target. I feel that there are big staples on the bottom of the mat that can scratch surfaces, and the painted targets appear a little faded and not as vibrant as I'd requested. It is also fun to play the game on multiple sides and against different targets (9 ball and dart board are the best). chose the Rinehart as I needed a target that could be shot with broadheads and the Morrel was too small. These can be fairly expensive and I happened to get this on a day it was reduced to $99, but they tend to get more expensive after a while. You've got a great website! It is lightweight (can be carried with a single hand It comes with a nice handle) and it is relatively easy to pull both field tips and broadhead arrows using one hand (while holding the target with the The only thing I can say about its durability is that I've only shot about a dozen arrows through it so far, but I'm very happily satisfied with my purchase. I took it on the hunting trip and wasn't disappointed to hunt with it and get a couple practice arrows down - I mentioned earlier that some of the options are light and compact (like I said). It seems to me that if you place a large number of broadheads in it, it will begin to degrade when pulled out (which will also pull out the foam). Even so, I did not purchase it for practicing days Days of the week- Broadheads are on the way. was just wondering if I could check the distance/accuracy of my arrow against the broadhead on my arrow. We received a field tip shortly before heading out on the hunt. This is a well worth the money investment that will last a long time as long as you use it for broadheads (or field tips), and it's an excellent product. You've hit the mark!.

This is a great When it comes to broad heads, this thing is surprisingly durable
5/5

In spite of the hype of vendors saying their broad heads flow like field points, I have a problem with using field points to sight in. My experience in archery hunting for over 45 years has taught me that you need to practice with the bow you intend to use when you go hunting, and a good target is part of the process. This is truly a case of you get what you pay for when you buy this target. My only complaint is that I wish it had been a little cheaper.

Target that is great, durable, and accurate
5/5

Firstly, I'd like to point out that I do not use this with a bow or crossedbow. It shoots either bullets or pellets or crossbow style bolts, or it will shoot practice tips. I use it with a Sam Yang Recluse air rifle. The speed of the gun is over 500 frames per second. While that seems like a lot of power, this target seems like it will be exactly what we need. Despite the fact that the broadheads penetrate 14-18 inches, they are stopped by the practice broadheads. Having shot these things for some time now, I can finally practice. My goal was to try every "homemade" target/backstop I knew of. Neither of the bolts could be held without damaging them, and the bolts are more than $20 each. I agree, it is not easy to pull them out. However, this is the result of the speed and power of the engine. A inexpensive rubber arrow puller works great for me. I have yet to lose a bolt. It is quite shocking to me that the paint job on this thing is so poor. I took a few shots at the very bottom of the target and they all went through and into the dirt. This project looks like it was done by a 3rd grade class with a spray can. The look should be on point for the money spent. However, it does not compromise the use or integrity of the target, so no stars are deducted. Having put more than a few rounds in this target, I have not noticed any noticeable wear, so it seems that it will last for quite some time.
I would recommend this target to anyone shooting high-powered If you hit it, it will stop them.

Crossbow target of excellent quality
5/5

I purchased this one after seeing it in use by a friend. Moreover, he mentioned how easy arrow removal is as well as how it can stop it without damaging it. The experience has not disappointed me. A crossbow Excalibur was used at a range of about 305 feet. The distance is 20 yards and it is an easy one. The removal is done with one hand. A fixed blade is used. Does not penetrate more than This target is very lightweight. It has a handle that makes transporting it a breeze. A neighbor who has been shooting for 30 years and often shoots. A customer who has used it recently claims that it's the best Target he has ever encountered. That is why I recommend it very highly. We have only had it for a week, so we cannot comment on durability, but it seems to be working very well. A construction project.

There are a few questions I would like answered
5/5

There was no explicit mention of this in any reviews, so I took the leap and purchased I don't know how it works, but I have used Rage broadheads, Slick Trick Crossbow broadheads and Muzzy and they all come out of the foam WITHOUT a doubt. The process of taking out broadheads is actually easier than it is to take out The reason for this remains a mystery. The second thing to note is that this A thick rubber and a The broadheads I shot stayed sharp all the way through. To be honest, I had no idea that would happen. As a matter of course, I always use one as a practice drill because I know I'll be replacing the blades soon. I do not know how it works, but it doesn't dull the blade. We are very happy with what we received.
