It's not something I'd recommend for use in a crossbow. The bolts that I fire from my bow have a speed of about 100 fps and a kinetic force of around 130 pounds. It hit a concrete wall behind it, shattering the bolts after it went through 50 yards. $5 is a lot of money for a bolt. Losing three definitely amounted to a lot.

The center coil almost made it through the back and the hunter got lucky with an exact bullseye hit. After poking it back in place, it was back in It performs the same function as a cheap dart board. Other than that, it stops arrows shot at 30 yards with practice tips with a 50lb recurve. They would tear it to pieces with broad heads. In the rain, it cannot be left out. A hanging strip is a cheap red ribbon that is often used on Christmas presents. A twisted natural fiber looks to have been made by hand. When I have some pink foam insulation at home, I will definitely use it when I go to work.

A bad smell is emanating from the room

Mold has surrounded the entire rim of this target, which arrived today. It was dirty when it arrived in the bag. One reason why I am unable to rate it one star is that it may still be able to be an archery target, but I have no intention of finding out and eliminating it from my collection.

You made a good choice

There are not enough layers to stop arrows in 3 layers. I used a 20 and 30 lb bow from 10 yards to shoot 100 arrows at a 3 layer target. Throats are penetrated by arrows This past target has a gap of 8" at the back, so I'll be replacing this with a 5 layer target in the near future. A bow and arrow can be easily removed. It appears the targets are lightweight, perhaps 5 lbs at the most. It is proving to be a good target shooting day. The product is great and I will buy it.
