Questions & Answers

Grommets for hanging the target do not appear to be present on the target in the photo. If this can be hung from a stand, is that possible?

Pay attention to the details. A picture of grommets is shown in the following paragraph. Along the top of the target, they are on the tabs and face inward.

This will work with an 80 lb mini crossbow that fires at 165 fps, right?

You can use it for a mini crossbow just fine. A 50 pound compound bow is fired into it by my daughter, and it works beautifully.

How well does the quad 400 crossbow hold up to the 345 feet per second of the barnett quad 400 crossbow?

The bolt from my crossbow disappears into this target often since it travels at approximately 370 feet per second. Originally, I thought it might be possible to remove it without damaging the fletching. The four bolts I've lost thus far have been fired maybe 12 times.

A female adult beginner currently uses a 35-pound recurve (40-pound soon, then 45-pound maximum) will this be sufficient, or will it be too light, or will arrows bounce off when shot?

Thank you for your message. In addition to being a woman shooter, I am also a mother. Shooting with a bow - I use various types of bows Various types of bow - longbows, recurves, Mongol horse bows The weight ranges from 37 to 45 pounds. As for the target, it's fine. I sometimes shoot a crossbow, which is very powerful. It is fine to use field points as long as you have a target. Broadheads are not intended to be used with this target. As long as the arrow is struck correctly, there will always be an occasional bounce off, and distance is also crucial. When you hit a target at 20 yards, you do things differently than when you hit I hope you find this helpful.

Arrows work great with this
4/5

There's a problem with it for bears. I used my 45# recurve bow and my 175# crossbow on this target with no problem. It was easy to hang on my stand since it came with grommets.

After only a month, I lost the target along with a foam target that was less effective. Bears and archery targets both look like wrecks. I'm not sure why bears hate archery targets so much. There is one huge piece of blanket in the target. It looks like a huge blanket has been squeezed in. Here is the picture I'm going to post. Taking the target and storing it within will require me to reorder it.

Since I bought my first bow, this has been the best investment I have made
5/5

As an amateur shooter, I enjoy target practice. My accuracy has improved drastically since I am able to practice daily in my home without leaving the comfort of my own couch. My schedule doesn't frequently allow me to venture too far from home during the weekdays, making it difficult to find a proper range to practice in. I live in a suburban area and I have to find a suitable target range to practice. This now allows me to practice on a near-daily basis. When I am watching TV during a commercial break, I am often able to take a few practice shots. Honestly, it was quite easy to set up this stand, as well as the Acrhery Bag Stand from HME Products. In addition to being sturdy and portable, the bag is also lightweight. Despite the difference in color and shape of the surface, the shooter is able to attempt to hit a variety of different points. As of now, I have a bow tuned to approximately 55 lbs for a close range, and even there, penetration was minimal and it has never required more than a light (emphasis on LIGHT) two finger pull to remove the field point mounted It is not unreasonable for me to think that I have already put well over 100 arrows into the target over the past few weeks, and I have no reason not to There is a target on the other side of that. In the event that one side becomes problematic, I can just flip it over and use the other side. Thus far, the target does not appear to have any variations or soft spots Across the board it appears the penetration achieved is the same. To be honest, I wish I had bought this the moment I saw it. At only $30, there's no reason not to An investment of $40 to replace this is one of the best one can make as a novice shooter. might be one of the very few products I have come across that is five star worthy.

You hit the target perfectly! In the past few weeks, my husband and I have taken up recurve bow archery as a new hobby, and our first target was a polystyrene block, but it was not adequate over the long run, so we are now looking for a stronger The Yellow Jacket Supreme 3 caught my attention after I researched several options, including making my own target
5/5

Additionally, we bought a HME stand so we could hang the target on. This target has been a great addition to our backyard shooting A Yellow Jacket target has made such a difference over the old Tuff Block target for us. Using the stand and bag at 21 yards is much better than the previous Tuff Block target. There is no problem with the arrows penetrating the plastic sheathing, and they can also be easily removed. There are some arrows that must be wiggled out of the bag when taken out of the bag because the point and insert are not flush with the shaft of the arrow. Bags like this should be able to handle thousands of hits before they need to be.

The target is great, but it has its limits as well
4/5

Nice target. I really like it. The arrows are stopped easily, and it is a two finger pull 9/10 of the time. In the price I paid for it (around $45, With $50) it was a great value for money. This is one of the reasons I chose this over a Block target because of the option to buy replacement covers. Note that I shoot between 50 and 75mm Before reading my complaints, remember that I shoot between 50 and 75mm From a 60lb compound, 100 arrows are fired every day. You do not have to worry about any of these if you shoot less or if you shoot a recurve or a compound with a lower power rating. Voici the complaints The target face wears quickly, as you can see in the 3.
A few weeks of shooting does not seem to have cured the problem of arrows not stopping. As arrows begin to fly from both sides, the battle is heating up. 3. (This is not unusual, as shown in the pictures)
There is a high price for replacement bags. If it weren't for these concerns, I would have given it a 5 star rating. To get started in archery or to shoot on weekends, this is a great option if you're looking for an affordable target.

Here is everything that you need to know
5/5

In addition, You will not be disappointed if you choose to purchase this target. This was a good deal for me, as I got it for $45 only. Fast delivery and discreet packaging made this package stand out from the rest. My initial impressions were excellent and the item was not damaged when I received it. As a matter of fact, I've used more expensive, larger Morrell bag targets before and have gotten years out of them before needing to replace them The handbag. As I have shot a few dozen rounds through this bag, I can tell it will also last for a long time. In terms of size, the bag is relatively large, and it weighs Shooting is easy on the field with this device. There is no need to struggle with arrows because they are very easy to remove. The arrows I shoot penetrate very little at 313fps with 496gr armor piercing arrows. My field points are slightly larger than my arrows, so sometimes I have to pull myself out of them as the field point and the shaft are not congruent. But that is to be expected since the field point is slightly larger than my arrows. The shots do not go through to the other side, but I expect they will since the bag has been shot thousands of times. There is an easy way to make it essentially new by purchasing a new cover. It is my intent to update this whenever I continue to use the bag, but I am convinced it will last for a long time.

I took 1000's of shots over 3 years and wore it out
3/5

The target areas where most of the arrows are hitting have worn out, and the arrows from a 35 yard bow firing at 300fps are eating In order not to stick my arrows into the tree behind the tree, I am using its outside edges. I'm in the process of writing another one. The original is no longer available, here is the new version. was fine for 100 shots of dry shots while it was cool. I then shot 12 arrows and I could not remove any of them because it had rained for two weeks. It is shown in the picture how I used a crow bar and the Easton arrow remover with hose clamps on it to hold the arrow, but it would not budge. In the last picture, you can see how I got the money back and why they didn't return it to me.

I have used this bag in thousands of shoots and it still stands
4/5

There is a high possibility that I will purchase another bag like this in the future. Over 2500 shots were put in one side of the bag, and it's still hold very well. Even though the printing fades from a few hundred shots, I still can put another 1,000 on it before I turn it over for the other side. I do use a paper target on top because the printing is all fade out after a few hundred shots. The arrows are much easier to pull out of this bag than from a target made of foam. The bow I use is a Hoyt Carbon Spyder with a 50lb draw weight. Update, over 5000 shots on both sides, most of the bag is usable, but some areas are too weak to hold the shot, as the arrows were unable to pass.
