The treatment I was going to receive would hopefully make my back better. The first three times were great, but the fourth time was the worst. My left hook broke while cranking it back, resulting in a broken thumb and a scope that cannot zero. I had to go to the hospital for repair. There is a chance that I got a bad product made on Friday right before I had to leave for home, but at this point I am unable to Having emailed the seller, I am waiting for their response so that things can be made.
I love it. After 350 or so uses, the string wears against the allen head screw that holds the ratchet mechanism, causing the string to need to be replaced. As with the serving at the corners, the hooks are wide and identical to the serving aid rope devices. The outer corner of the hooks where they grasp the string should have an angled relieve filed into it. In this way, the hook was eased up at first, but was later broken. File the hooks but do not file them. Please do not use the aid in lieu of a doctor or other professional It is a tool used for cocking. Keeping your hand on the handle will hurt you. As far as I'm concerned, this little gadget is an excellent tool. The rope aid has proven problematic for me over the past few years due to a shoulder injury. I had to switch to the Eclipse crossbow a couple of years ago. Depending on how my shoulder feels, I can do it sometimes but not all the time. It is easy for me to pull the bow string back with the help of this device. There will be no problems anymore. I believe it is worth every penny even though it is a bit pricey. Despite the fact that I've already used it several times this year, It's still my favorite.
