Doesn't seem to cause any problems on my TS 390 - I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work
are unable to use a traditional bow due to their disabilities or age. Remember when crossbows were really only legal for people who couldn't use a traditional bow due to their disabilities? You shouldn't inform people that they shouldn't be allowed a ticket because they are "too loud.". I have used this for my Barnett Brotherhood and it worked very well
Mount the crank in the following manner You can test it by cranking the string slowly before actually full drawing it to make sure that it is properly mounted. I don't think it's too complicated. If you look at the way the two clips are attached to the pull draw, you will see
Selected User Reviews For Barnett Crossbows Tactical TS370 and TS390 Crank Cocking Device, Black
A gift I bought for my girlfriend was the TS390, a rope with which she could pull it back. I knew she couldn't, so even though I had read poor reviews, I thought it was worth a try. That was a great deal of work, the method is a bit awkward, but it I have only one issue with it when the bow is almost locked, the crank handle strikes the hook, pulling back It would have cleared the crank if the base of the crank had been another 1/2" longer. In general, I think my purchase was a good one!.
However, care must be taken to ensure that the cords wind on to the spools properly to allow the bow to cock. I am a little unsure about the cord size, but I like the handle and spools. Cords will need to be replaced if they begin to wear a little bit. Putting away and unpacking Storing the hooks can be quite complicated, and the cords must be wound evenly for the hooks to stay in place. The device pulls downward on the bowstring when I put it on the crossbow model I have. Having it pulled straight back will result in wearing down both the bowstring and the cocking device quicker than if it were designed to be pulled This product sells for more than $100, so it should provide features such as convenient stow/unstow to keep its value high. As such, while it does the job, it is quite primitive for its price level.
This crank cock is a bit awkward, but definitely works with my TS-46 This was the only way I could cock the crossbow for target practice and hunting after having surgery on my shoulder about eight weeks ago. Thank you for making this tool available to me for that purpose. I find it a little awkward to operate, but I'm sure that it gets the job done nonetheless. Based on the reviews I've read, several people have expressed concern over safety issues. Because of them, I was extra careful to follow the instructions and we had no problems with the installation or usage whatsoever. In terms of installation time, it took about 30 minutes. When it comes to accuracy, it works well and I am able to consistently hit centered bulls eyes at 20 yards We're talking about 30 yards here.
In fact, it didn't work at all with the TS390. I think there may have been some missing parts since the item was placed on a plastic bag. There's no information I can give you other than that.
As a result, it appears that Barnett does not send the crank with proper instructions. The crank string needs to be looped back over the rope where the cocking rope is attached when you attach the crank and put hooks on the string.
Despite the fact it will mount to it, it will not be able to lock the draw string back because the hooks will hang on the auto safety and it cannot be cranked. There is no reason why this crank wouldn't work well with a hand crank. It's both easier and faster. Your money is not worth it.
The process isn't as smooth as it could be. It falls off the When removed after cocking, safety is turned off. This is a terrible situation on all counts. Despite being notified via e-mail, Barnett never acknowledges problems. Returning to the original source. In addition to all other Barnett products.
It only took about 15 to 20 minutes for the installation to be completed. Its smoothness makes it easy to pull the string back. The mechanism is so easy to operate that my 11-year-old son can operate it.
