When shooting into a block, I would use a regular field point if you're only trying to decock your crossbow. If you're hunting and don't have access to a block while out, you can use this product to decock while you're out. In addition, since it does not contain any metal, you can shoot it into the ground without worrying about damaging a hunting bolt.

The nock ended of the gun shattered after three uses. According to Barnett, the device will not last long enough to justify the purchase price. I regret to inform you that Thump and EVAC have been de-activated Bolts that cock are not meant to be permanently installed. You can reuse them if they don't have any damage when you take them apart It is therefore easy to replace a damaged cock by purchasing a new one. Since they are more affordable, they are convenient for people who want to eliminate the use of regular arrows. They minimize the risk of damaging your regular arrow. ".

I use it to decock my crossbow constantly because it's the easiest and safest method. A very nice feature of these rubber pieces is that they are extra hard.

The second time I used it, it broke

When I used a Ghost 410 after the second time, the bolt split. If there are stones in the ground, we cannot recommend unless the soil is totally void of these rocks.

In most cases, it is shot into a hay bale. The advertised features are true. After the hunt is done, I will usually shoot them into hay bales to finish the day. Thus far, there have been no problems.
