For my 71" longbow, I purchased a dozen of these 500 spine arrows. Because they have a cover over the shaft and leading edge of part of the fletching, I thought these arrows were unusual. (See photo) This came loose from one of the arrows as it collided with the target. It was easily fixed with some fletching glue and a heat gun, so no big deal. Even after hard impacts with wood, the arrows have remained virtually unharmed. They're still straight and haven't been cracked or scratched in any way. The only damage is where a feather was clipped off from another arrow hitting the fletching. I wouldn't think twice about substituting broadheads for the target points and going hunting with them. As note: I went with the 32" because I already own a 30. " Draw length is 5". (It varies depending on who measures it and how. ) When I'm in full drawl, I can even touch the end of the arrow.
These are some of the most durable and well-made Amazon arrows I've tried. I'm a newbie who is rough with arrows, missing shots all the time and having them fly into wood, metal, or the ground. These have glued-in inserts, and the rubber ring on the field tips keeps them from backing out and disappearing inside the hay bales. The nocks, which are wider than others and frequently slip off the bow string, are my only gripe. Given how well they've held up, I think that's forgivable, and they're still deserving of 5 stars when compared to the other arrows on Amazon. I've tried almost every brand out there, and these work great with my 30 pound recurve and 40 pound longbow. They're also attractive, and the faux wood finish has held up well in comparison to other brands. Overall, these are a great value, but if you want to get the most out of them, invest in some better nocks.
Traditional turkey-based dishes have far too few options. Feather arrows that don't appear to have been made for a carnival or to impress kids. br>br>These arrows are the perfect way to keep it classy while going old-school. school. They showed up on time and flew straight ahead. You can count on them to fly as reliably as Uncle Joe does when he sniffs strangers. Oh, and they really do look badass! br>br>.
The heads are well-made, with double washers to ensure that they do not unscrew or leak water into the shaft. I've had to buy washer separately and add them to other arrows I've bought for myself and my nephew to get the same result. br>br>I've been very happy with the performance. We'll be back in no time.
They shoot straight and hold up well after a lot of shots with a 40 bow. The natural turkey feathers are also a favorite of mine.
We're still buried in snow, so I haven't been able to shoot my bow outside; These arrows, on the other hand, seem to be in good condition. They were well-made and arrived in great shape.
I'll be ordering more in the near future.
It's a little difficult to see, but that's my only complaint; these arrows are extremely durable and simple to repair if they do break.
