It's difficult to beat for the price. I paid twice as much for half of the arrows, and I think these are just as accurate (if not more so). The build quality is excellent, and there are only a few minor flaws. These have held up admirably to hits into the dirt/gravel backstop. Work of caution: They do appear to run in the 1/2-hour range. Longer than an inch.
After a long day at work, I shot the rest 100 times and had no problems with 3in groupings at 30 yards. I'm now satisfied with these, though a few of them arrived bent and possibly fractured, causing them to explode on impact. 4 stars for sure, but double-check them before shooting. br>br>At 20/30 yards, these arrows are dead on, and I mean dead on. Don't use on difficult targets, or you'll miss the target and they'll be done. One shattered into three pieces in my Glendale buck target, while the other shattered into three pieces in the grass behind it as it flew right over it, nipping the top. I'm not sure what's going on here, but my 500 spine arrows are a lot more durable than these. Both of these arrows were fired once and then exploded. About 30 times, I fired the remaining ten arrows. For the price, these are decent arrows.
The tip seat and tip are larger than the arrow shaft, which is my only complaint about these arrows. As a result, getting them out of the target is extremely difficult. Trying to get rid of them, I ripped up my Eternity Target. It was necessary to use a grinder to reduce the size of the Tip seat and tip in order to remove them. However, the grainage is no longer in effect. Sizing the tip and the Tip seat to the shaft requires a higher level of quality control. I won't be purchasing anything else in the future.
I decided to take a chance on these arrows, and I'm glad I did. When I was in high school, I used to shoot archery with a local club on a regular basis, but I stopped when I went to college. I recently re-entered the game and wanted to get some nice arrows to help me get back into it. I came across these after conducting extensive research on YouTube and various archey forums. They aren't Olympic-level carbon arrows, so they won't perform as well as shafts of that caliber, but they aren't as expensive. They also fly a lot better than my cheap fiberglass arrows. Some of the nocks were facing the wrong way, but adjusting them according to the listing instructions was simple (I'm not sure why so many people have complained about this; inserting a quarter and turning a bit isn't that difficult). The only problem I've had so far is purely cosmetic. The logos and writing on the vanes have already rubbed off quite a bit, but I'm not concerned about that. These are highly recommended for any beginner or intermediate archer.
My ten-year-old finds these arrows to be too heavy and unwieldy. They aren't recommended for his recurve bow, according to his archery coach. Sigh. They are not returnable because he has tried them (of course). If you're thinking about ordering these, think twice and seek advice from knowledgeable people first. I wish I had!.
These arrows have exceeded my expectations, especially when compared to the other ones available at Sportsman's Warehouse. You also get twice as many arrows for half the price of what you'd get at a sportsman's store.
They take off and land in a straight line. Because spines aren't one-size-fits-all, make sure you get the right one for your bow setup. I would purchase this item again. Yes, the shaft is slightly larger than the point and ferrule. However, because the ferrule is made of standard thread, it can accommodate broad heads without difficulty.
Yesterday, I went to the range and shot a few of these arrows. They fly straight and in the direction I want them to go. I had a group of five arrows that I shot into the target five times each. Good penetration and accuracy, but after the fourth round of shots, three of my arrows were bent and couldn't be used again.
